I purchased this laptop due to its reasonable price and relatively amazing specs. I was previously looking at laptops such as the HP Spectre (not a gaming machine), but luckily discovered the MSI GS65 which turned out to be similarly priced but for much higher performance capability. I'm not too familiar with MSI, but I know they are a Taiwanese company. I have noticed a couple English grammatical errors/typos within the Dragon software, but nothing unreadable. The Dragon software is very user-friendly and modern. I have no trouble switching between ECO mode and Sport mode. Best Buy had this laptop on sale for $1449.99 in-store, which was excellent. So far, everything is working well--work-related apps, internet browsers, and game-related functions. Microsoft Word has crashed on me one time, but the machine has never crashed during gaming. When gaming, the fan turns on and is definitely noticeable, but nothing too loud. The bottom of the laptop also heats up a bit which spurred me to purchase a cooling pad with fans. I have my laptop set-up connected to a monitor and wireless keyboard/mouse and have not noticed any problems with this. The ports are a little tight and require a bit of force to stick USB cords and such in, but there are a plethora of them which I like. Super light, but much heavier/thicker than the average student laptop. Only purchase if you know you want to game/utilize the full extent of the machine. I would recommend this machine to most gamers.

Works fine, specs are fine but compared to other gaming laptops it runs extremely loud. Do yourself a favor a spend a few hundred more on a quieter machine with the same specs

I don't buy laptops very often and my previous laptop of 4 years wouldn't charge anymore. After researching, I decided to buy this gaming laptop and wow, I am absolutely floored! It has a long lasting battery life, great speaker quality, and it runs games buttery smooth! It looks so sleek and it's very light for a gaming laptop. It has a professional look without the gaudy appearance and a nice metal finish. I highly recommend getting this laptop if you want a quality gaming laptop!!

So disappointing! I bought it for music production but the fans are way to loud, impossible to record with that!

Games run perfectly smooth on it. Although it gets super hot while playing and even throttles. You can undervolt it and stop the throttling. Speakers are absolutely terrible. Don't expect even normal sound quality as they are extremely horrible. And sometimes even get cracked when you move the laptop. You can fix this by pressing the BIOS Reset button at bottom surface. RGB Keyboard looks stunning. Screen is one of the best I've seen yet. Performance is extremely high and you have to undervolt it for long hours of gaming. I'd recommend it if you don't care about speakers.

Very slow computer. I was trying to replace a 4 year old VAIO. When I mentioned that the salesperson at Best Best, who are typically very nice, almost laughed at me. I bought the computer and gave it a few tries but it was just too slow compared to my aging VAIO. I had always wanted an MSI computer and was really looking forward to this, so it was a big let down.

I spent a couple of weeks looking at laptops before deciding to purchase this model. The performance of this laptop is top tier, and my machine has handled every app and game I have thrown at it so far. I have also run a few benchmarks to see where this laptop compares to others in the market, and this machine was often towards the top of the charts. The SSD in the laptop is very fast, with multiple benchmarks showing my machine with read/write speeds over 1GB, which means transferring files to/from the included 512GB SSD will be a relatively quick operation. I have noticed that games such as Skyrim Special Edition and World of Warcraft load quickly, and even applications like Adobe Photoshop are very responsive. With all that being said, I do have to admit that the display is absolutely amazing on this laptop. While this is not a screen with a 4K display, this full HD (1080p) panel does have a refresh rate of 120hZ, which means noticeably smoother graphics in games as well as better performance when having multiple windows open and visible at the same time. All in all, this a great laptop for the price, a laptop I have already recommended to a few friends.

Can't give it a good review as mine died in 14 days. It runs very hot in simple tasks. Would not recommend.

Overall feel - feels cheap and and all the gamer antics are over the top. Had I been able to see this computer in the store - I would not have given it a 2nd glance. I have one main cad program that I use and it would not run it. Some graphics issue and still don't have it completely sorted out. Again - very disappointing purchase.

I bought this to play league of legends and j notice the screen occasionally flickers, it's been happening since i bought the laptop, been trying to fix, tried uninstall and install display adapter and multiple method, the screen is still flickering.

I got this laptop for gaming after my mac stopped working. I wanted to play video games so I decided that a mac is not going to cut it. And I did not want a regular PC. I ended up getting this shiny new toy and I will admit I'm impressed.. It handles any game that I have thrown at it. Gta 5, CSGO, Arma 3 ETC.. I was able to run Arma at 120 FPS with ease. Little to no lag with this PC, and the graphics are nice. What I really like are the FEATURES. There are soooooo many features ranging from audio and video to changing what colors and design your keyboard is. You can change nearly every bit of this computer and that is what makes it so great. Everything is customizable. Now the only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is because for some reason I lag unless my laptop is plugged in to the charger. Like I LAG A LOT without it even if my laptop is fully charged. But that does not matter to me to much since I always have mine plugged in. Another thing was that my speakers just stopped working all of a sudden they just stopped producing sound. UNLESS I have headphones in. Again it does not really affect me considering I never play games without headphones on but still. Other then that it is a very solid computer with great power and I would recommend it to any gamer out there!

This laptop is for studying and playing. It is lightweight compared to others, very compact and have an amazing design. Also the performance on this computer is amazing while playing, the colors on the screen looks very natural and it is great for the price.

This GS65 Stealth is a huge leap from my previous laptop. I had a HP Pavilion 360 from 2015 which handled my needs for the time I had it but it had no power. This GS65 on the other hand is almost like having a desk top with you at all times. I am a civil engineering student and needed something that wouldnt be slow and laggy in 2 years. The main motivation on getting this laptop was not the gaming aspect but the fact that autocad will run beautifully with no problem and for the price it was a no brainer compared to everything else on the market. The other 2 in 1s on the market that even try to compare are way more expensive some even twice the price. Im a big guy so the weight is no problem for me and actually I prefer a little more weight so it doesnt slide around. Its build quality seems very good almost no keyboard flex.

The laptop was great at first, it and there was no problems until about a week in. The charger blue, it took a long while to get it back then shortly the laptop wouldn't charge past 60% and if left unplugged it would die quickly.

This laptop, in the short time I've owned it has been one of the best purchases I have done. From the crystal clear screen to the cool stylized keyboard, this laptop is top notch and well built. Pros: 144hz screen Newer Graphics (definitely not outdated) Thin screen bezels 16GB DDR4 SSD A 9th gen i7 processor Cons: None so far except the security that comes with it but is most likely a package deal between Microsoft and MSI. Overall this Laptop is amazing and has better specs than my gaming desktop, I will most likely be using this for lite gaming to school related projects.

I've recently upgraded to this Laptop from an old desktop, and the beauty of this laptop is outstanding. The chassis of this laptop is beautiful on the outside, with a slim design on the outside and a clean smooth inside. The display is clean and looks great, with a spacious and nice mousepad. There are multiple ports, nice design. The keyboard feels great, RGB on it is great but I'm still trying to figure it out since I just got it, but the customization is extensive. But playing games on it feels so smooth with with lag for me at all. I'm impressed with the quality and in the future would buy more MSI products, this being my first. I'm overall impressed and excited for my future with this laptop.

This laptop has outstanding performance and runs multiple design apps for my college work in architecture seamlessly with top notch graphics, a nearly 8 hour battery life, and better frames per second (fps) on every game I have played on it so far compared to my old laptop as well as my home console, an xbox one, that's triple the size. Definitely worth it for both gaming and any kind of work you'd need it to put out for your education, career, or leisure time. My only issue thus far with the laptop was that the charger cord included did not charge the laptop, but the guys at BestBuy gladly replaced it for me and everything works perfect as can be.

If you're looking for a laptop that packs a punch in a small form factor, the MSI GS65 is the laptop for you. Sure other laptops like the Razer blade 15 and the Gigabyte Aero are also good choices, but the MSI has a great hardware with the GTX 1660Ti, 516G memory, 16G ram, and a fast 144Hz monitor. Get one now before the labor day sale ends. I got mine for $1350 with the student discount. The thermals are weakest link of the laptop, but can be remedied by repasting which requires opening up the laptop, or undervolting with XTU or throttlestop.

Don't know if mine is a fluke but it was bag out of the box. Very frustrated. Took it back and got a Mac book. I'm not a gamer and I'm happy with my decision
