Amazing, but very thick

Epic fail.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was good while it lasted. The main board failed about 2 weeks after the warranty expired, $1400 to fix it. Recently, the right hinge broke and cracked the bottom panel. Not buying another MSI...ever.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this pc yesterday and i loved it but there are some major flaws. 1. The storage- at first when i saw the storage at 512gb I thought that would be ok for the games i would need, but what msi doesnt mention is that they have 300gbs of it already being used by the software only allowing you to actually use about 250gbs, or atleast thats what i also thought, but they also dont mention that 160gbs of the storage is backup storage that isnt actually usable. Leaving you with about 52gbs to actually use. 2- this computer runs games very well, but only when its plugged in. When the pc isnt plugged in it runs at roughly about 40 fps making games barely even playable. 3 theres a new one- There is a brand new version of this pc out that has a gen 9 processor 1tb of storage the same graphics card and ram for the same exact price. I will be returning this pc and getting that one.

Failed within 2 weeks
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s a very stylish laptop, and the keyboard is better than any other laptop I’ve owned, but after a week and a half it would overheat and shut down while playing battlefield 5. It got to a point where I’d open my email and I’d get a cpu alarm about it reaching 100 degree Celsius. Sadly had to return it due to MSI saying it would take 30 days to fix/replace.
