Bought this for our nephew and he loves it! Very nice laptop.

You would think that with a 2060 it would be able to handle some games to an extend but with just 20 minutes of playing valorant it over heats and turns itself off. The fan are loud and obnoxious even when just browsing the internet not even gaming... if you plan on buying this to game I wouldn’t especially if you don’t use headphone because all you’ll hear is the fans.

After updating some new systems drivers the microphone seems to be not functioning too well and sound too little and I try every way possible to fix but its still not working well. The rest is perfectly fine on meet expectations

The laptop works great for gaming! The only issue is it gets very hot very quick. About an hour of gaming on a desk with venting room, the bottom still gets too hot to touch. Even the charger gets very hot

The laptop works fine, but the fans were louder than any laptop I've ever used even on the lowest rpm. Had to send it back because they were that bothersome.

The actual software and performance is great for the price-point. However, the actual model is lacking. The first model we were sent had a defective screen. Bad omen? The replacement lasted two months before the sides of the hinges were chipping off. There is now exposed metal that dig into anything it presses into. Now, a year later of using this laptop for home use only, the back fan panels are breaking off. The frame of this laptop is simply not good OR solid.

I did not have a good experience with this product. The first one I received had a large dent on the left hinge. MSI packaged this product very well, so this was a factory defect and not related to shipping. I don’t think the dent would have caused an issue with use or something bad in the long term, but I decided to send it back as I expect a good quality product when spending more than $1000 especially on a laptop. The second one was in better shape compared to the first, but the cpu fan was loud! It was almost like a jet engine. I ran all the updates, updated the bios and tweaked the fan speeds in Dragon Center. I even tried a reimage and repeated the same steps as before. I let the cpu idle for a bit so the temperature would drop. No matter what I did, the fan was always running and loud. The gpu fan would run when the temperature increased, but it was almost silent compared to the cpu fan. Even running at similar rpms! I have had thin gaming laptops in the past, so I understand that the fans will run more than a desktop or large gaming laptop due to the smaller sizes. I also understand that I could have “undervolted” the cpu. I like to keep the hardware settings as close to stock as I possibly can, especially while the unit is under warranty. MSI is a good brand and maybe I was just unlucky with both of the laptops this time around.

Good computer have a few glitches here and there. Some of the apps can't be installed due to some unknown reason.

It’s a good laptop and all buy with higher end games you might wanna get the better version of this.

Amazing screen, great keyboard with individual RGB. This is my first real gaming laptop and it is everything I expected and more. It has a huge battery but is thin and light somehow. The keyboard is comfortable to type on and looks great with RGB. I haven't messed with the settings on the RGB yet but it was set to gold rush out of the box which is cool to see. The performance in games is amazing. I have not done any of the benchmarks yet but it is smooth and fast while gaming. The one thing that did surprise me is that I can connect it to my phone and view the photos, texts and make calls from my computer. Very useful to be able to grab and use the photos without having to email or plug in my phone.

After 3 months of use camera just stopped working tried my best to fix it nothing works so I had to reset it , after resetting it it's stuck in a circle turning on asking which language then turns off over and over >:"(( trying to use camera day before my test I have to deal with this >:"((((((((((((

The fans are a bit of an issue but tbh 4 years into having this laptop and it’s a great buy, works great for work and games!

Crashed after a week, and then encountered unstable blue screen of death. Had to return it.

She's still running like I bought her yesterday. Great buy! I mostly use for music production. I have less glitching and freezing in my DAW. She's a strong babe. Oh and shipping was quick !
