I have owned the GS66 for a few days but it has not disappointed me. I wanted a laptop with the capability to play the most demanding games but have a simple look. It's thin and doesn't look like the prototypical outlandish gaming laptops often seen, which is perfect for me. If you didn't know the MSI brand, you could be fooled. The hefty standard power cable is the biggest give-away. All-in-all it's a powerful computer for it's thin size with the cooling ability to keep it around 80 degrees Celsius while playing highly demanding games. It's noise is manageable and has a quality feel to it. Comparing the quality of material and feel to the Dell G3 I own, I'd easily say the MSI GS66 wins.

This is my second gaming laptop. My first gaming laptop was an Evoo and under 1000$. I promised myself I would never spend this much on a gaming laptop but here I am. I did my research on the processor, GPU, and other important specs before making my purchase. I also read the reviews to make sure they weren't paid reviews. Out of the 200+ reviews on best buy a lot of them spoke highly on this laptop. I read there is more then one RTX 3060 though. I'm hoping this is the higher powered laptop version. I will try to find out. I will update my review later after having for a month. Also on userbenchmark this laptop had great test results!

This thing is not a potato and can probably power an Alien Spacecraft going near the speed of light. Any games or programs you run on it will be a piece of cake and can expect satisfying levels of performance. It’s quite lightweight and super portable, if anything the charger is heavier than the laptop itself. The fans at full speed are not too loud and definitely not a fighter jet engine. The only downside is the battery life but the MSI AI system settings can take care of that. Overall, I recommend investing on this so you can teabag a bunch of toxic gamers at 240fps.

Got this for my daughters graduation and to use in college. She loves everything about it. Says it's super fast with no lagging playing games.

I purchased this for my grandson He loves the games and has lots of fun playing with it. I am also getting him to do homework much better as this ias a great insensitive

Thls has been my favorite laptop, it runs very fast, and can handle the games and 3d modeling software i use. Would buy again

so far so good. Easy set up, quick downloads, sleek, very light. i do wish the ports were on the back just for convinence on a desk, but it really is very fantastic.

This laptop was really easy to set up the way I wanted it to be. So far is working extremely fast with very little lag. Running multiple high stress items at one time

Best and fastest laptop I have owned with its sleek body sharp edges that don’t irritate your skin when typing are some of the things I love about this laptop.

Bought it for my son as his first gaming laptop and we are overall impressed. cant complain - fast, easy to use and fun with the colorful changing keyboard.

Winner!!! Games look amazing and the keyboard looks very cool when lit up. Our college student loves it. There is a slight fan noise, but nothing too bad.

This is a great laptop for gaming and a hella of a great deal. I love the graphics and the way the keyboard lights up is awesome.

Overall, great laptop. Plays VR and every game I’ve thrown at it. The fans are loud and tends to get hot. However, I still enjoy it.

Good laptop with the GTX 3060 gpu and intel processor. It runs hot, but most lightweight laptops with the level GPU do. Recommend a cooling pad.

Very good laptop for 3D animators handles Maya and photoshop really well. Capable of running Arnold renders. Quite big and heavy though, need a big back pack for it.

I've been using it for about 8 months. It's a very good laptop. I did not have any problems with the games I played. I advise.

Crazy fast as expected. Would like an easier UI with volume and brightness control (volume control buttons on a Kindle).

High quality machine. Screen is gorgeous. Only gripes are the loud fan while gaming and the relatively short battery life when playing demanding games.

I am thoroughly impressed by the overall performance of this laptop. Graphics and frame rates are smooth when plugged into the charger. This is my first gaming laptop purchase so I was unaware of the harsh drop in quality of graphics when not plugged into the charger. Not too big of a dealbreaker since I play at a desk anyway. It was a little buggy at the start as well. The first game I ever booted up hard crashed my entire laptop, I could not even shut it down completely. Through and through it was well worth the purchase. Games run great and the graphics are outstanding.

Amazing laptop! Can run just about any game you can think of! And very nice graphics as well! Highly recommended
