Build quality is excellent. Display is smooth. Keyboards is well lit. Battery life is so-so. For the price I would prefer better graphics.

I have owned this laptop for about 4 months now. This thing is a beast. So far it has run smoothly and has exceeded my expectations. I have tons of games, I do school work, and I have some 3d engraving programs on it. I feel like I am cheating running the 240 hz refresh. The rbg adds a little bling to it also. The triple fans are a little loud when turned on full blast, but they cool everything off pretty quick so you dont have to run them on full very long. I do believe I will be a returning MSI customer.

This computer was exactly what I was looking for. It has very fast processing for the video editing I do and super sharp graphics.

First time owning a "gaming" laptop. I did extensive research into what to look for, things to avoid and average price points. After weeks of deliberation, this was a clear winner and now after owning and using it for two weeks now, i'm really happy with my purchase. It runs really fast, starts up almost immediately. Runs multiple programs with ease, thanks to the 16GB RAM. I did add a 1TB M.2 SSD to it (Samsung 970 Evo for anyone curious) just to add more room for games. Taking that back panel off was tough, since its a very slim product and felt i needed to be really careful, but once that came off, it was really easy to add that 2nd SSD stick. Maybe 10 seconds of my life. Games run really smooth. It benchmarked really well for being a 3060 Laptop GPU. Ran Cyberpunk on high (around 60fps), Warzone on high (around 70 fps), and Rocket League (around 130 fps). Screen is bright and vibrant. The fans can be a little noisy. When im running any triple AAA game at high/ultra settings, you can definitely hear those fans doing their job. I personally don't care, cause that just tells me the components are getting cooled. Plus this is a slim laptop. If you didnt expect loud fans and higher temps due to it being so thin with high grade components, then maybe this isn't for you. On average, after about 2 hours of consistent gaming, CPU Temps were averaged between 82-90 while maxing out at 96. GPU temps were between 73-80, maxing out at 90. TLDR - Overall: Really good laptop. Great bang for the buck. Excellent screen. Fans run louder, and temps get high but nothing that's going to damage insides. Really happy with the purchase and will use this machine for the next 5-6 years with no problem. 9.5/10 recommend!

Its awesome, a great price for everything it has, definitely a deal at full price. It performs on a level I didn't expect.

This is THE BEST thin and light gaming laptop out there. When i first turned on my GS66 stealth the screen froze on the set-up screen which made me a little skeptical. But, this laptop has made up for it ever since. From its fast speeds to its amazing gaming quality this laptop just does not miss. I also love the light up keyboard which i believe you can change the color of (i haven't discovered how to do that yet). If you are considering buying this product i 100% recommend you do it.

Best upgrade from my Alienware 15 r4! The price is so worth it! Works fast and I’ve had no issues at all.

Good laptop for gaming. it got a very comfortable keyboard and beautiful layout & light design. Could drive most of my 3A vedio games.

I have always like MSI. This laptop's display went failed immediately. Shipped to MSI to fix under the warranty. They fixed it and is working great so far.

I just upgraded from a GS65 8th edition to this laptop. The fans are quieter than the previous model. The laptop runs very well and I am running nearly all games at 60 fps. More of the graphic intensive games cause the cpu to run a bit warm, but turning on the cooler boost for a few minutes usually cools it down. Overall, I would recommend MSI in general. Their tech support is reasonable, and if there is something wrong with the laptop they fix it without issues.

A good computer for heavy graphics usage, but if you plan to gift this for users outside USA, beware of the wattages and voltage in other countries as mine had a problem with motherboard

I bought this computer based on the other highly praised reviews. I needed something that could withstand my heavy modded gaming with a breeze and this machined definitely delivered. The fans keeps it cool which I also have additional cooling fans for my system. I haven’t had any issues besides it does this weird skip on YouTube when I’m watching videos and the browser itself would skip. I’m not sure if that’s a heat thing or a malfunction with the system that’s the only reason for the four stars.

Great laptop. Will do anything you want to do except (maybe) play the most demanding computer games at the highest settings. Fast start times. Good battery life even while gaming. Like every other computer I’ve purchased in my life, there’s some excess software installed with the factory settings, which take a few minutes to remove or stop from loading on startup. I wish laptop suppliers would stop doing this.

Never a dull moment for the solid MSI GS66! If you're a graduate student and a gamer, the GS66 is the best laptop out there. 100/100

beautiful laptop. i've had it for some months by now and i'll admit it does have a few minor flaws. but that definitely doesn't take away from everything else about it. every game i've played has run so smoothly, and watching videos and shows is so nice due to the quality.

Great laptop, but it had issues with the charging port only a year after purchase.
