The extensive packaging that this laptop came in made unwrapping this laptop a very enjoyable process. Literally everything is wrapped and even the keyboard was covered in a cloth. This is my first gaming laptop and I am so happy I bought this. Everything runs so fast and the keyboard is feels really nice to type on. The light up keyboard is also a nice touch when I use it at night without the lights on. Overall, this laptop is not only beautiful in design, but literally everything else is perfect. Very easy laptop to use.

I haven't really had a laptop for gaming since WoW Cataclysm. I've always steered away from them due to issues with heat, performance overall. Not to mention the build quality that's surrounded most of them. I've been working from home a lot - and decided instead of sitting at my desk further to enjoy some gaming after work, I'd snag myself a laptop. After a bunch of reviews and researching, I purchased this laptop. It performs very well - has no heat issues, and exudes quality. I recommend it from every direction.

Great processor, fast speeds. Beautiful keyboard. Light and well built. Only thing it’s lacking is a 10-key which we didn’t notice it lacked while purchasing it. So 4/5 because of that reason

I upgraded to the GS66 from the GS65 and I'm glad I did. The performance is a hair better and more importantly the thermals are greatly improved. Not to mention the day and night difference between the build quality. I am really impressed by all the improvements, overall performance, quality, and price of the device. The changes to this model put it pretty much on-par with the Razer Blade. Taking into consideration the price of the two devices, the GS66 is by far the better value. I would highly recommend it!

This laptop has exceeded my expectations in every way. It definitely is powerful enough to handle everything I through at it cyber related. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their mobile technology.

Install and set up the next day after receiving the computer. The software installation process is very fast and the performance is absolutely very good. Although the fan occasionally makes a loud noise, it should be that the performance utilization rate is higher when installing multiple software. , Wait for specific daily use and then look at the performance of this computer! The only thing that is not so good is that the memory is 2 * 8 dual memory. At that time, part of the purchase was also because the official website and the bestbuy page description marked a single root 16G memory, so that I can add a 16G memory stick again. , I feel bad in this respect, because if I want to allocate 32G memory, these two 8G memory sticks are wasted!

Solid performance, excellent desing, sharp and fast screen and overall good laptop with one issue. Fan noise. Minimum fan speed is too high even when idling and its audible.

I had this laptop for about a month. So far no defects have turned up. Performance was slightly less than expected and temps were on the high side (95c on the cpu). After a bit of googling, I repasted and undervolted. Cpu now stays under 90c, and performance is as expected for the given hardware. I live in the SF bar area, so ambient temps are quite low. I would probably not buy this laptop if I lived in hot locales. I guess that is probable true for all ultra slim gaming laptops.

The GS66 is my third MSI laptop. The build quality is much better compared to the GS65. The new screen hinge makes it feel make much more solid. The change in speaker orientation makes the sound quality much better. The keyboard has a satisfying keystroke and the facial recognition works well. Battery life for a gaming laptop is also great It would be better if the ports were reversed. There is a USB-C port on each side but they would be easier to use if they were both on the left side if the computer.

This machine is great. Right out of the box works perfectly. Beautiful clean looking laptop with metal body. Very powerful for gaming every game I've played on it runs flawlessly and the 240 hz is awesome.

I found this laptop to be perfect for all of my needs, admitted I’m not the biggest gamer it seems to run everything well so far. It is also perfect for more casual use such as writing and note taking for classes. My only issue is that it seems to heat up quickly, so I’d recommend getting one of those laptop boards that allow it to breathe better. The fan isn’t extremely loud either.

So I recently decided to upgrade my old 8 gb laptop for this beast. And so far its pretty amazing. Great battery life which is a huge plus for me since all I do is use photoshop and edit video. It also dosent over heat at all, but it fan is little loud but its nothing crazy. 10/10 would reccomend to anybody.

I was in the market for a very powerful laptop that would allow me to render CAD models, do school work and play games for college and after a while, I ultimately decided to settle on this laptop, the MSI GS-66. After using it for a week, let me tell you, this laptop is worth every penny. Starting with the specs on the laptop, this comes with an Intel i7 10th gen and 16 GB ram that allows me to make quick work with whatever I need to do. On top of which, this version comes with 1 TB of storage and an RTX 2070 max-q (not the normal 2070s that you'll find on built PCs) which allows me to have a lot of storage and play all of the latest games on the market. To top this all off, MSI added the largest legal battery for a laptop that is allowed onto an airplane, a 99.9-watt battery that should allow a user 6-7 hours of normal web browsing without charge. Overall, after using a 2015 MacBook Pro throughout high school, this laptop has solved all the needs that I had for a laptop for college and has made my transition back to Windows much more enjoyable.

At first I received a unit that would not turn on. This scared me big time. After returning it at best buy and getting a replacement the first thing I did was turn it on. A light came on! This laptop has worked like a dream since. Does not overheat. RGB keyboard is amazing. And the screen is perfect. I upgraded this laptop to almost full specs and I have not had one problem. Definitely worth it even though it might take you longer if you get a defective unit.

My first high-end laptop, and I gotta say, this destroyed all expectations out of the ball park! I got this during Cyber Monday, so it became affordable enough for me at around $1600 to get and boy it was worth every single penny. super fast with amazing monitor low-latency. the only thing that would bother someone though is when they are gaming, it's recommended to blast the fan manually as it does get pretty hot.

The specs are so solid on this laptop, but I was still amazed at the speed and quality. It's a beast. Everything runs at such a high fps, no lags, etc. I'm in awe with this one! I was a little skeptical about the heating issues, but that hasn't been an issue at all. The Stealth case is a bonus. I'm a fan of the black, though it does show fingerprints easily. I just wipe it down and motor on though... Definitely the best purchase I've made...

10/10 computer. Can run music software and photoshop and graphic design programs very smoothly. Very light weight and great to travel with. Power brick is a bit hefty and the fans can get loud but I don't blame that for the processing power and graphic units it has within it. I will always stay with MSI for the pure quality these computers posses. Thanks for the great piece of technological art.
