Even though I have only had this laptop for a couple of days I have not been let down. This laptop is great and is able to handle my games pretty good. My only complaint would be the fans noise since it does get pretty loud, but once I put my headphones on it's all good. So far, a great buy.

Bought this to replace my aging Lenovo and all around I am satisfied with its performance. Fair warning that it gets HOT (and so will anything you set next to it), so much so that with many games you'll need to set a FPS limiter. The big issue I have with this machine: there are constant audio problems. The speakers themselves are pretty low quality and some combination of auto-leveling software makes them almost unusable. The audio will occasionally auto-adjust volume by a huge amount - it will suddenly become half as loud or twice as loud for seemingly no reason. A YouTube video or a game can be fine for a few minutes, then suddenly it becomes almost silent - even with everything on 100% it's so quiet I have to strain to hear it. I've tweaked every setting and tried about a dozen 'fixes' found online as well as contacted MSI for support and this is still unresolved. Unusable without external speakers or a headset.

I've been enjoying the laptop for a while now, and everything about it is great. The build quality of the chassis itself is fantastic and helps to make the product feel more sturdy. The specs of the computer are well-suited for gaming and for other general uses as well. Would recommend.

Just received today and i love the build quality, look and performance so far. I have only used it to game as of yet and it handles all my games easily giving me well over 180 fps on all my games. Have not tested yet for my work will do so in the coming days, 5 star laptop as of now though.

I have considered many other products on the market but ended up getting the msi gs66. It’s sleek, powerful, and it will last for many years to come. I usually buy laptops that would last me 5-7 years minimum, and so far, the specs from this one exceed my expectation. Highly recommend!

if you want a laptop that will run 99% of the games you play at at the minimum 140 fps or higher, and at the maximum from what Ive seen nearly 500 fps, this is the laptop for you. It is a gamers dream laptop. It most likely wont run Doom at max graphics, but thats to be expected, only the highest quality computers in general can do that. But if you wont be playing high detail games like that, this is the laptop for you.

It was a little challenging at first to learn everything on the computer and keeping up with its first time updates . After that was done . Runs all my games at max settings with ease and easily runs past 120 fps. It’s worth every dollar . Very few gaming laptops under 2 grand could beat it . And I’m not even sure if there is one that could beat it . You probably will need a cooling mat though .

everything on this laptop is great I'm able to play games with high settings and it is nice and light to carry. Battery life can last you to almost 6 hours and 40 minutes because of the 99watts hour battery it has. You could also bring it with you into the plane for traveling. So far, I'm loving it. But, the speakers can be a little meh, most of the time I am just wearing headphones to do whatever task.

The unboxing process was a blast! The laptops build quality was great. It's built like a tank yet still super light. The logo is perfect being just visible but not an eyesore like many other gaming computers. I love the design because it doesn't look too gamerish.., so looks and feels very luxurious and professional. One problem is that it picks up fingerprints like crazy but most black laptops have that problem. The steel series keyboard is phenomenal and the backlight looks great, although I wish there are more presets in dragon center and the keyboard can get a little brighter. One other slight nitpicky thing is the font of the keyboard is a little weird but it doesn't bother me too much. One upper hand that the GS66 has is that it has a webcam, unlike the G14. This is especially useful because one of the things a laptop needs is a webcam nowadays because of online meetings. I love all of the ports that come with the laptop which is definitely useful for gamers and work. The laptop does definitely get pretty hot but that's expected when playing hard games to run like warzone with RTX on and rainbow six siege. I usually get 90-140 fps on all of the highest settings with 1920x1080 gaming for Warzone and 160-200 for the same resolution for Rainbow Six Siege. For both games, the GPU usage is around 90-100% and the GPU temperature is around 80C. For both games, the CPU usage is around 40-60% and the temperature is from 80C-95C. For some easier games to run like Valorant I got over 240 FPS at all times and the GPU usage was from 35-50%. and the CPU usage was from 20-40%. The GPU temp was about 45-60C and the CPU temp was around 50C at all times. The 240 Hz screen is amazing and I love all of the other color options and fan configurations in Dragon center. Overall, this laptop is amazing and I would recommend it to my friends. It's at a decent price and it works really well.

I love this laptop as it's powerful and reliable within the time I've had it (1 month). Gaming on it isn't a problem as my only gripe as it's ridiculously loud. It's okay most of the time because I usually game with my headset in so it doesn't bother me much. Aside from that I love this laptop and I would recommend if the noise isn't a deal breaker.

The MSI GS66 is an amazing gaming laptop. There are many ports. I've traveled with the laptop and it's not too heavy. It has a fantastic display, with really good gaming graphics. I love the customizable keyboard lighting! This laptop is a well built and high end laptop!

Great for work and gaming, an all around a great laptop. The fan is a little loud, but it goes mostly unnoticed. The graphics are crystal clear and look absolutely amazing and the system runs extremely smoothly. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth with this laptop.

I recently purchased this laptop for my son for gaming and also for virtual learning because of what's been going on. He loves the speed and the graphics are really amazing compared to the previous laptop he had. All the usb ports work for a gaming mouse, also the colored keyboard is a really nice touch. All the regular programs work nicely, it's a nice all black exterior and has a lot of space.

I'm very impressed I bought this laptop as an upgrade to my 2015 Macbook Pro 13´. I almost bought another Macbook Pro, but this was the best choice for sure. I started streaming for PLC programming a week ago and my Macbook Pro couldn't handle streaming and all my programs at the same time. Now with my new MSI - GS66 Stealth, I can run Streaming on Facebook, OBS, Studio 5000, RSLinx, Emulate 5000, FactoryTalk View and have a meeting by zooming at the same time with no problems. I also love this trackpad, I was very afraid to leave my Macbook Pro Trackpad, but this is very good, if you forget the mouse you can easily do the job. Overall, I am very happy with the MSI GS66 Stealth. Very happy to have chosen this one. I highly recommend this product.

This is a nice piece of gaming equipment. My other gaming PCs are much larger/heavier so I was looking for something with more mobility. This machine is exactly what I was looking for. The 2070 Max-Q graphics card paired with the 240hZ screen make for exceptional graphics with outstanding color. I have used it to play League of Legends, World of Warcraft, and Fortnite with excellent results. Lots of ventilation and strong fans keep the CPU and GPU relatively cool during game play. The warmest it has been for me is running Fortnite with all settings on Epic which results in an average CPU temperature of about 82 C. Temperatures stay in the 65-75 C on both league and WoW. Overall this is a nice piece of gaming equipment and is a very high quality build in a compact and easily portable machine! PS: This is my first MSI machine and their management software “Dragon Center” is exceptionally easy to use and has convinced me to look into MSI products.

Ive had this computer for about a week and it plays really big games on really high graphics settings very smoothly. As is the case with many laptops it can get hot and the fans can get loud. However that to me doesn't take away from the gaming experience that this computer offers. I would recommend this computer to anyone with a decent budget that is trying to get the most bang for their buck.

Lightning fast laptop that doesn't overheat when gaming. I'm loving the upgrade to RTX 2070 max q as well! The MSI bloatware that comes loaded on here isn't really necessary or that intuitive to use. I'll be enjoying making music and playing AAA games for years to come!

Excellent graphics, keyboard look and feel, sound, speed, and a whole lot more. I'm glad that I did my due diligence and researched a plethora of laptops to find this one. It really is making a huge difference in my audio and video editing, daily work, and gaming on the side.
