Very good performance. I went into it expecting bad noise / thermals but I was still disappointed that the laptop is *never* silent. Even doing nothing but sitting on windows with a brand new install the fan was running and obvious. The quality is very good for what you're getting. Had the fan noise been acceptable during low workloads I would have kept this machine.

I purchased this Laptop for work and gaming on the side and it has perfromed very well to date. No issues with delivery time and curbside pickup was easy. The laptop performs great and is running any game I want with no problems, although I am not playing anything very demanding. The one issue I have found is that when the laptop is plugged in and gaming the fans can get quite loud as it is operating at max capacity. Otherwise I have no complaints and feel this is probably an industry standard. Also, I've been using the laptop for work functions and it performs really well there also. It is very sleek and I like the no nonsense style of the stealth. Only downside is that I wish there was a number pad on the keyboard but that is a small gripe. The price is right where you would expect it to be. Overall, very please with the overall quality and price. Would get this again if I had a do over.

I was hesitant to snag this maching as it was pricey and I have never owned one. At first taking it out of the box it felt incredibly built and stirdy. it runs great with the games I have played. The sound is pretty good, although no laptop has great sound.

Bought for my son in college replacing a dying but expensive laptop bought only three years ago. Doubt I would ever buy from those little green men again. Anyway, son likes it. Fast, as it should be, lighter than previous laptop.

I recently had to part with my 2018 MS65 stealth, the predecessor to this computer, and thought I couldn't love another computer more than my 2018 MSI. Turns out, this 2020 GS66 stealth is even more amazing! They were able to change the design so that it is more sturdy and less flimsy in terms of its build. I love the updated keyboard and larger trackpad, very helpful for typing and navigating. Beyond the small changes between the two models, you cannot go wrong buying the MSI GS66 stealth, it is a very high-powered machine with excellent storage (1 TB!) and works like a charm. I run a lot of software on this computer (Maxwell, rhino, autoCAD, revit, adobe suite, etc) and have no problems at all. Also seems to be very quiet so far which is a nice plus. The GS66 stealth is a very reliable computer that I hope to have for a very long time.

Very fast gamer. Nice design. Great keyboard. Pad isn't the best. Great screen, amazing framerates. Fans get a bit noisy when playing games. We leave it plugged in during gaming to hopefully be nice to the battery. Overall excellent

I got this laptop since 2021 and until now it feels brand new to me cause i haven't get any problem with it. Updates are good, graphics specs. This is a good one when u r a gamer as well.

I’ve had it about a month now it seems to work really good from surfing the web to videos games play really good. It does get a little warm get cooling pad and you should be fine. I would suggest this to anyone who wants a good all around laptop

As of now this laptop runs very smoothly. Setup was quick and simple. It’s worth noting it’s a laptop so the fans can sound a little loud when installing new software or playing high quality games at max settings.

What more do you need to hit them frames? Best Monitor I have seen in a long time Doesn't heat up as much as its predecessor I play better on this laptop and that is all you should need to know Con Speakers could be slightly better

I have used a few gaming laptops in the past and it's amazing what can be done with the thinner ones now. I expected (from prior experiences with thin and light laptops) for this to run rather hot, and I was pleasantly surprised when it was cold and the fans weren't running at all! I followed a few other tips online in order to maximize this, such as turning off turbo boost and undervolting, which has made it even colder. (This is in normal usage, such as writing documents and browsing the web, something that would turn my previous Macbook and Razer Blade into literal frying pans without gaming) The i7 and RTX 2070 combo in this is blazing fast for everything that I can throw at it so far, and I can only imagine the productivity beast it will be when I start editing on it

As a gaming computer, this laptop is very dense in power. At relatively light weight and size, it's putting out very good graphics on a very nice 240hz monitor. Plenty of USB ports for peripherals. Very excited to use this.

I bought this after my Asus laptop flat out wouldn't turn on or charge its new battery, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Once it's fully updated, you'll be at the Windows login screen within seconds after powering it on. Gotta love SSDs! And the display is gorgeous. Everything on the screen is crystal clear and displayed with vivid colors. I thought I'd need 4K, but I think that would be wasted on a 15" screen. I've also read the comments regarding heat and loud fans, but that's to be expected with this much power in a compact laptop. And the fans only crank up high when you're working with something that requires a lot of processing power. This laptop should last me quite a while. I'm looking forward to building apps and games on it for years to come.

The screen is great. There are many options in the “Dragon Center” to tailor the computer to your situational needs. The fan can get a little loud sometimes depending on what game you play, but the performance is really good.

It was a choice between this, the Razer Blade 15, or the Asus G14 (which remains the best in terms of performance-to-value). I went with the MSI GS66 because it came with a significantly better GPU than the Asus, a killer I7 cpu, and it had a webcam, which the G14 does not. This is a great mix of portability and performance, though battery life isn't particularly good -it's decent enough for light tasks and can go up to about 6-7 hours. Gaming on a 240hz panel with such a fast response time is fantastic - it compares surprisingly well to my desktop which runs an i9-9900k chip and RTX 2080 ti. The RTX 2070 on this is powerful enough to drive any AAA game today at max settings , mostly thanks to the use of a full HD panel (rather than 4k). The choice between this or the Razer 15 came down to what you get under the hood with either - the MSI wins hands-down in this, thanks to the far better GPU, much larger SSD storage, and faster monitor compared to the similarly priced base Razer 15. The Razer is a better looking and sleeker machine, but at this point that's not enough to justify the price tag, for me. I'd highly recommend the MSI GS 66

Bought this for my daughter to take to school. She's starting in game design/rendering this fall. She was going to take her monster, custom-built desktop for use in her dorm and this laptop for use in class and on the go. But after having this machine for one day, she's already decided to leave her beast of a desktop at home! She's in love with the 240 hz display and it's got plenty of muscle and speed for her design work. Pros: quick video card and processor, beautiful lag-free display, plenty of room to expand to 64GB when it's needed Cons: runs a little warm but the fans keep it to a minimum.

I just recently purchased the MSI - GS66 Stealth 15.6" Gaming Laptop and there is already so many amazing things to say about it. Firstly, it should be known I received the device with very high expectations. After hours of researching trying to find the best laptop for my purposes, I was excited by every spec this laptop had to offer. The RTX 2070, the 240Hz screen, the 16GB of DDR4 Ram, the i7 Intel processor, it all seemed too good to be true for such a portable device! The $1800 price point was very reasonable in my opinion considering the competitions pricing. I'll waste no time and say right now that you will not be disappointed when purchasing this laptop. I have desktop PC, but have always wanted a laptop to make school work and other things more convenient, but when viewing some of my first option such as the MacBook Air, I was severely disappointed with its performance on even the most simple games such as Minecraft. Sure, I wanted a laptop that would suite me for working purposes, but when travelling It was important to me to be able to play the same games I love playing on my desktop PC. This thinking brought me to purchasing the GS66 Stealth, with the specifications mentioned before, the 720p camera and discrete design I knew it would be perfect for my situation, and it definitely lived up to all of the expectations I had. As for any cons I can think of, it is probably a smart idea to invest in a cooling mat for the laptop because when it is being pushed to its full potential the bottom can and will get hot to the touch, but with the power this laptop has in such a tiny space it was no surprise to me when this happened. To wrap this review up, If you currently find yourself in the same situation as I was in, wanting a laptop that can perform for both work and play, I think this is the GS66 Stealth is the best option. While I cant speak on certain subjects such as its content creation abilities, I can say it is a perfect fit for the majority of students who want to splurge a little to get more performance!

My previous laptop was useless as compared to this one. The specs on this laptop are outstanding. I also really enjoy certain features like the customizable keyboard, which is especially useful for gaming. I had the money to buy a high-end laptop, so I went with this one. I wanted a laptop to be able to do just about anything I wanted, even though I'm not a huge gamer or anything. As technology constantly advances to the next best thing, I didn't want something that became outdated in just a couple years. I can count on this laptop being useful and lasting for a while. My only complaint is that the Dragon Center won't seem to initialize after a Windows update, but it is not a big deal for me. Hopefully the next Windows update fixes that.

One of the best mid-low range gaming laptops. Enough SSD memory and just correct RAM to get you going through almost every game. RTX 2070 is probably MAX Q and performed superbly. Overall, a great buy!
