This laptop has the hardware to play games, and the keyboard and screen to use as a daily work laptop. The SteelSeries keyboard absolutely smashes out essays and gameplay movements with equal ease. It's beautiful, sturdy, and tactile. MSI added plenty of extra features to the f-keys, like fan boosting for games and screen mirroring for productivity. All in all, a great laptop, and definitely worth the price.

I bought this laptop for college as an engineering student needing graphical power, decent battery life, a good price, and portability. This checked off all of those boxes. I did have to return it twice because the first had a faulty keyboard and the second crashed when pressing on the bottom of the device (likely due to a poor connection between the SSD and it’s port), but my third one is perfect. It’s a game of luck.

Very good gaming laptop so far. It is rather powerful and allows me to run demanding games with no problem at all. My only complain are the fans, which can be a bit loud when taxing the CPU/GPU. It is also surprisingly compact considering what is all tacked under the hood. The entire machine feels sturdy and well built and I am glad I went for 16GB RAM and 1TB drive. I should be able to get good milage out of this machine

I own three good laptops and this is the best one I have ever purchased. I needed a Nvidia GeForce Video Card because I am running a 3-D Design program on it which the other laptops I checked out wouldn't support and it works perfectly. The speed is amazing! Also I was purchasing this laptop from NewEgg and Amazon but Best Buy had the best price so I canceled and ordered it from Best Buy! Loving this Laptop!!

runs fast and doesn't overheat. programs open quickly very good for the money

This laptop is a very powerful laptop. It can handle AAA games with ease. The downside on this one is the noise it makes when playing because of the fans. It's very sturdy as well and I feel that this will last a long time because of the materials used. The 2070 graphics card that comes with it give me power to play any game that I want with high to ultra settings. This is a must have if you are in to gaming.

I've been looking for something that has power with a minimalist design and the GS66 fit the profile. The laptop is priced really well and has lived up to my expectations. So far I've been pretty happy with the purchase. The cooling system works really well but can get loud under full load. I suggest purchasing a cooling pad if you plan to game for an extensive amount of time or do any heavy graphics work. Just know that this laptop packs some power to perform and it will heat up! Other than that, the laptop has worked really well. Shout out to MSI for building an exceptional laptop!

Excellent computer so far, just received recently mainly using for high end 3D designing and data acquisition from scanner. No problems with this computer so far, and no complaints. I am no expert and I'm not messing with any unnecessary settings, just running the computer how it was installed and its been great so far.

Fast, sleek , quiet and doesn't even get that hot while gaming 10/10

This was an awesome laptop. For the time I used it the graphics were amazing. I can also say this laptop probably saved my life because it’s so well made. I was in a motorcycle accident in September and it was in my backpack . I flew and bounced 160 feet and I’m alive. Without that laptop I believe I would either be dead or paralyzed, I’m hoping to be able to buy a new one soon

I invested in this laptop after my Toshiba of about 7 years finally decided it had enough. I was disappointed to learn Toshiba was not making laptops anymore, so the search began. Based on reviews, this laptop seem to fit my needs. I've had this laptop for a little over a week and I am a little disappointed. For a gaming laptop and for the price of it, I expected better quality sound speakers and camera picture quality. The speakers are less than stereo quality. I get better sound quality with speakers connected or a Bluetooth connected speaker. So for $1,700, somewhere in there $100 (the price of the Bluetooth speaker I connected to it), should have that sound quality without having to add speakers to it. Next the camera. Also for $1,700, I expected the camera to be better quality. If we have portable hand held computers in our hands, i.e. cellphones which are cheaper than this laptop (avg. price of iphone 12, $1,200), the camera does not match the quality of current cellphones at 720p. It is very grainy and pixelated. I did all the recommendations that the software is up to date, lighting is good, etc. and it did not resolve the issue. Outside of those two things, the laptop was easy to setup. It is lightening fast. I had no issues connecting to home wifi, getting wireless printer set up, and files transferred from old laptop. So due to the aforementioned issues, I rate this as average with poor value. While all the other perks are awesome that come with this laptop, it's the poor sound and camera quality that reduces the rating for me.

Good so far. Heats up when I used it. Cooling pad/board helps with that. Other than that, everything is fast and smooth with this one.

This is my first gaming laptop and it is doing what I expected. Playing Destiny 2 with smooth graphics and fast load times. The screen itself really impressed, it's better than I expected. Very smooth, great viewing angles. The darn thing sounds like it's going to takeoff when running full graphics, but I think that is to be expected with the cooling needed in such a confined space.

When I purchased this, I was working from home in a tiny room with a huge tower (heater) PC. Gaming laptops have the higher end business features you need for I.T. without all the heat bellowing out. I typically run several virtual machines for software development. I've since made several upgrades which were easy enough to do it myself. I have played games on the laptop and noticed under stress the processor heat ramps up to around 90c. This is normal. But the onboard software will allow you to tweak it down to the 70's. Hardware is an I7-10k with 6 cores and an overall 12 total including virtual. Mine had 64 GB of ram because of my work requirements. The 16GB it came with is sufficient for mostly everyone else. Cyberpunk 2077 will run with RTX and all the settings to Ultra at 60 plus FPS. The 240hz builtin display is something of a miracle. You won't believe what you've been missing. The Nivida 2070 Super has no issues with modern games.

I had originally bought the Razer Blade 15 but it would overheat just playing Call of Duty. Exchanged it for this laptop for the exact same price but better specs and one extra fan in it. Definitely best decision of my life. It's monitor even is 240hz compared to the Razer's 144hz. Overall, great gaming laptop with great specs for such a small size. 10/10 would recommend this to anyone.

Quality is Good, ease of use is fair, speed is great, very lite to carry.

I had some issues with my ROG. Worked with the local Best Buy to upgrade to this PC. Since upgrading, my FPS has gone from ~60 up to ~120. The battery also lasts longer and the device has a great built in web cam. Overall, incredibly pleased with the new device and looking forward to hours of gaming to come.
