Top of the Line Laptop for price/i9 11900H range.

I bought this laptop after replacing my Dell G7 17.3 Laptop which lasted me close to two years. This was only 500 bucks more than my G7 version and am very happy I bought this laptop. This has a MUX Switch which means you can literally disable the iGPU and switch to Dedicated Graphics. This is critical for older games you play that uses older legacy Directx etc and majority of those games hate the Optimus switching. The laptop does run hot as it is expected from how slim the laptop is. It is less heavy than the Dell G7 but is little heaver (.88 grams heavier which is not noticable) than the Alienware M17. This thing has a i9 11900H processor which is literally overkill for a laptop. This is not the i9 11850 version. this is a real i9 11900H processor with 8 core 16 thread CPU. For the price range it is your top of the line laptop as it has the MUX switch which means laptop screen goes straight to dedicated graphics and disables the iGPU from the CPU. This laptop has one of the biggest batteries 99.9 capacity for this price range. This does not last long on gaming but seen a 2 hour boost from playing one of my older legacy games. This is critical for my long flights home. The keyboard is new and needs to get use to as I always needed to for MSI's but the keyboard feel is beautiful. As always MSI makes their number pad keys very small compare to the alienware's but this does not lose a star as MSI did this purposely as it is rarely used in today's gaming. (I use it for FFXI which I use a ton for movement). The Laptop gets hot and this is common as it is a thin laptop. This has 3 fans and so far has kept it cool. I do not do any of my gaming on max settings. I max it to performance level which my heat temps hit around 70-77C which is acceptable for max FPS and no 4k etc. Last but not least I added better thermal paste to the CPU and seems heat dropped to 62-68 range which dropped GPU temps by 5+C degrees which means heat is getting away from the CPU/GPU area on the motherboard. Overall this is the top laptop for your buck and if its on sale GET IT ASAP!. I got it for 1999.99 and wow.. enough said.

    Great Laptop

I have had this computer for about a month and it has worked very well. I was required to get a PC for college with the specs this PC offers, and it has performed well for all the architectural software I have downloaded and used. However, I have had a problem with the screen blacking out while using zoom, but after deleting zoom and downloading it again the problem goes away. Overall, a great PC for what I have used it for and a great price compared to similar PCs with similar graphics cards, internal storage, and processors.

This laptop is not used for gaming but for running design programs as Autocad Electrical, Matlab, Lt-spice, Revit software and such. It runs smoothly and lighting fast! Based my purchase on the positive reviews it received. I recommend this machie for the engineering student/professional. Time will tell its durability.

This laptop was better than expected! The setup was extremely quick and easy, and it handles nicely. The laptop deals with heat displacement really well. Its specs don't lie, as it can run pretty much any game I've thrown at it thus far. While designed to focus on gaming, this laptop is also great for multipurpose use. Watching videos/movies and doing online work are made easy with this thing! Highly recommend.

So, I'm an Apple guy that finally got fed up with the lack of quality games on macOS. I picked this up strictly for gaming and I am NOT disappointed. For reference, my favorite game is BATTLETECH and this laptop plays that game like butter.

This laptop is very good. It has a high processing power, and does not get very hot. The fans can get loud sometimes, but it is not much of a problem. Overall, very much worth the investment.

The first one came to me with a hardware issue that required the laptop to be exchanged. It could never turn on in the first place. Now here I am two months later and I've already gotten a black screen of death on the thing. External monitor works but the laptop can't detect it's own monitor. Don't bother with this brand, it's nothing but a headache.

Returned it the day I bought it. Insane thermal throttling to the point where gaming is not possible. 90C within one minute of opening a game.

For a computer of this price and these specs, it should run flawlessly. it doesn't, its a $2k piece of hot garbage.
