I probably should give it one star --but I like the specs and general features. Unfortunately, I returned it because the video/graphics broke down one day before my last day to return. First, screen dissolved into horizontal stripes and went black. Then, when I tried computer again, the images started to swirl across the screen and dissolved into waves. I turned it off and packed it for return. MSI seems to have a well-loved gaming machine, but they need to get this required feature more reliable and long-lasting. Other reviewers have had problems with the video. Some who reviewed after only owning computer 1-2 weeks may have had problems going forward. I am not a gamer -- I wanted this machine for advanced financial software. I need reliable.

Well I picked this up the other day, I was excited when I saw the configurations and the price. I am impressed so far Pros: i9 Processor 32GB RAM - expandable to 64 RTX 3070 Blazing fast - load times are fast during games and controls are very responsive. Graphics - The 17" display is crisp and the graphics are fluid even with the most demanding games. although on some of the less demanding games you might want to drop your refresh rate. Portability - This being a 17" unit I was surprised on just how portable this unit is. it measures only a half inch with the lid closed and the weight is equal or less than the larger Raider series. Cons: No 4K display - that would have been nice Runs hot - this unit does run hot, of course with all that's inside and how compact it is that's understandable, recommend using higher fan speed or a chill matt. Power Brick - as with most gaming laptops the power brick is huge. all in all definitely worth the money I spent, I would recommend this unit to any gamer looking far a unit that kicks butt that won't break your bank account.

Okay I’ve had mine for almost a year now and I must say! I absolutely love it, thing is u definitely need a fan pad it overheats sometimes but with a fan pad it works like a charm! I don’t regret getting it at all. It’s fast, a lot of space, fun!!

The laptop performs great, and the high refresh rate makes a smooth picture. The user scenarios are helpful to keep the laptop cool, when I am only using it for small tasks. It is built solid and has a lot of power.

Had high hopes, but I returned it. - Noisy fan runs all the time - even with the MSI setting set at silent and running no applications. - Keyboard is slow and feels very cheap/plasticty - Screen is fairly dull and not very bright at all. - Battery life is horrible The one thing that was positive was the Pci-E SSD was a Gen 4, so it was very fast.

Was great to start off, but 29 days later it won’t power up. This is super frustrating especially after I finally started to get this all set up to my liking. I don’t want to completely discredit this computer since it was an absolute beast of a laptop and could just be one off the line that had a default. Thankfully I bought the 3yr protection and I hope Best Buy. An help me resolve the issue quickly. I received it on may 9 and the return period ended may 25th. I thought it was 30 days, but apparently not. Thanks for reading my rant and I hope it helps.

It is a great be computer. It is Fast and light. Recommend!!

Not a bad gaming laptop for on the go. Definitely do not use on your lap, it gets pretty hot lol. There are better laptops out there in the price range but getting one to begin with is tough. This one is fine.

Really nice bang for the buck on paper. Unfortunately, the bang creates too much heat for the device, causing it to fail. I'm sure it is great for normal use, but that is not why I got it. Game or 3D rendering will trigger the fan as the temp rises. If you don't push to hard, the fan may be able to keep things going. Not today. It totally failed and won't start. Thankfully had 1 day left to return. Best advice, stay away or risk getting "burned."

These are very high rated laptops by the gaming community, this is our 3rd or 4th one. They are mostly very good, but they have an overheating issue, hence this being our 3rd or 4th one.
