    Replacing a NVIDIA GTX1070, so upgrade in graphics speed is substantial... but only average when compared with NVIDIA's latest GPU lineup.

    Wish it was a 3080 or Big Navi but i get 90-120 fps in most games at 1440p ultra.

    The problems with the 5700 series are well documented. Wattman crashes.. black screens.. games crashing.. I tested the card in 2 systems, both which are capable of handling significantly greater power loads. The 1st uses an EVGA Supernova 1200w Platinum certified. The 2nd has an 850w Corsair Gold certified supply. I've been running dual 2080 Ti's in the 1st system and a 2060 Super in the 2nd. Each 2080 Ti uses around 275-300w, and the 2060 Super uses around 200. The issue isn't power, it's either AMD's drivers, or an engineering flaw in the 5700 series in general. I returned the card after troubleshooting for around a week. The image quality was superior to Nvidia, and the HDR performance in certain games like AC Odyssey was also superior, but the instability made it increasingly frustrating to use. I do not recommend this product until AMD gets their act together.

    I decided to give AMD a try since it's almost impossible to buy NVIDIA cards right now. This purchase was a huge mistake. MSI has major thermal issues with this card. I am sure that the RX 5700 XT chip from any other manufacturer would be much better than the MSI Mech OC model. The temps on this card are embarrassingly bad. For the price of this card, I expected better. I am returning this card. I am sure you could put better thermal pads on this to resolve some the heat issues, but the noise from the fans is just unacceptable. Save your money on this one and do not buy from MSI. They knew this was a problem when they released it and have done nothing to resolve the problem. Just look up the issues on youtube and see for yourself.
