    CPU temps in the 90s w/ Ryzen 9 5950x.

    Attempted to use this MOBO with a Ryzen 9 5950x and it absolutely could not handle it. CPU was liquid cooled and still idled around 70 to 80 Celsius. Under a load it got in the mid-90s. Swapped to an ASUS ROG Crosshair VIII Hero and now get idle temps in the 40s or 50s and load temps in the 70s. This MOBO has a serious VRM overheating issue and I ignored the reviews out there that said so. Do not make this same mistake.

    Dealt with support...the board is garbage. I have done all that they have asked...tried multiple sticks of QVL compatible ram. I have reseated, updated bios, and still the boards won't post. Waste of time and effort. I will be returning all my purchases and rethinking the builds I was doing. This is not Best Buys fault. This is solely on MSI and their inability to build a board or offer support that can figure out how to build a board well. I put this together using a anti static mat, and grounding band. I took my time with all the boards, and it will not post no matter what I do. What is more likely that all the CPU's are defective or the boards are just poorly made.
