Overall best QD-OLED 4K 32" monitor right now!

This is my first OLED monitor, though not my first OLED experience as I also have a OLED TV. Out of the box, the display was perfect. It had a plastic protective screencover that you needed to peel off. This meant there were no scratches or smudges on the screen, unlike some other brands ;) I'm using this side by side with another 32" 4K monitor (IPS display). QD-OLED has a non-standard subpixel arrangement that causes some color fringing around text. Text does look slightly fuzzier than on a regular IPS display, but given the pixel density of 4K 32", it doesn't stand out too much from a normal viewing distance. For colors, it's a wide gamut display, so colors will look over-saturated at the default color settings. But you can clamp the color space to sRGB to get colors to look normal again. I personally don't mind, so I left it as is and calibrated it with my colorimeter to ensure that at least in color managed applications the colors will look right (for my photo editing). In games the 240hz refresh rate really does make competitive games very fast with basically zero input lag. Really excellent in competitive games. And in games such as Cyberpunk 2077 or Alan Wake 2, enabling HDR really looks excellent on an OLED display, with inky blacks in dark areas and per pixel illumination of brighter areas. Love the contrast and it's excellent for games. From a usability standpoint, I mounted it on one of my monitor arms, so can't speak to the stand. The buttons and joystick are easy to reach right behind the bottom of the screen in the center, and the menu is quite elaborate and allows you to adjust many different settings. I use this with both a PC and a Mac (with a docking station). I was initially connecting to the Mac using the USB Type-C input, and while the Mac would drive the display at 240hz when you only have the MSI connected, connecting additional monitors afterwards (I use 2x 4K 32" monitors) meant they wouldn't receive a signal, as the Mac I use (with the M2 Pro chip) will only drive up to 2 displays, and at 4K240hz it technically uses up all of the Mac's output capabilities (all the GPU output headers are locked by the MSI at that resolution and refresh rate). The workaround was to use a HDMI 2.0 > USB Type C adapter which would limit the bandwidth to 4K60hz, allowing me to actually use 2 displays with the Mac (for work). On the PC I have it connected with DisplayPort and that works fine driving both of my monitors at the same time at full refresh rate. One thing I'd like MSI to add in firmware is the ability to lock color settings per input. Right now it keeps the color settings across inputs, and I'd prefer to be able to set my Mac to sRGB, and my PC to full gamut without having to dive into the menu each time and change the settings. There are also lots of OLED burn-in mitigation features built into the firmware which should help with the longevity of the panel. Just remember that with OLED, it *will* burn-in eventually, the question is just how long it will take which will highly depend on your usage. Lots of varied content means the panel should last for a very long time. Mostly static content (e.g. desktop work) it won't last as long. It's using the latest 3rd gen QD-OLED panel produced by Samsung, so there's no real data yet on how durable these panels are. Hopefully it'll last me many years, but only time will tell. Overall though, an excellent monitor and compared to all other 4K 32" OLEDs released, an excellent value at its current list price (and you're not leaving anything on the table by going with the MSI). The MSI does not support Dolby Vision, but if all you're using is Windows you won't have any real benefit from Dolby Vision, and it will likely just cause strange issues.

This monitor will ruin every other monitor for you

On paper, the spec sheet for this monitor is ludicrous. 4K, 240hz refresh rate, QD-OLED, fanless design, KVM, 90 W power delivery, 3 year burn-in warranty. I know this is an overused expression, but I genuinely think that this monitor has no compromises. The KVM and 90W power delivery are particularly nice to have as someone who intends to work and play on this monitor. I can plug my macbook in, and it will charge and project it onto the monitor. And due to the KVM, the peripherals will seamlessly work and switch between the macbook and my desktop. Plus its always nice to have two free USB ports on my computer. If anyone is up in the air of getting a QD-OLED, I'll say that I was just like you. But that all changed the second I fired up a game (Ori and the Will of Wisps). I had my IPS panel next to the monitor and when I compared the two panels, I was flabbergasted. Its quite astonishing how fuzzy and bloomy IPS is. As a long-time IPS user, I never learned to really appreciate blacks or darker hues. But this monitor gave me a new sense of appreciation. Blacks look so much more complex. They are no longer a grayish blob, but a deep void that hides all sorts of detail. It's fun looking at shadows and corners and seeing the intricacies. Makes me wanna replay all the old games I've played that I think will benefit from OLED. One such game is Plague Tale Requiem. As a final note, I will say, upgrading your monitor to the MPG321URX is equivocal to upgrading from an HDD to a M.2 SSD in terms of displays. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed. PSA: The attached review images got a little compressed as I was migrating them from my phone to my computer. It looks even better in person.

After weeks of trying to get this monitor I was finally able to get it from Best Buy and I'm glad I did. It defiantly helps that this is the cheapest QD-OLED on the market right now. This as my main selling point when looking for a new monitor. I upgraded from a 27' IPS 1440p monitor and this one just blows it out of the water. This is my first time ever only a large format OLED display and I'm sorry I didn't get one soon. The way the colors just pop is amazing and the blacks are so inky. 240hz is nice for all my gaming needs. Also like that adaptive sync works with my Xbox. The KVM is also a nice extra that comes in handy when I need it. Defiantly is the monitor to get if you're looking for something new or an upgrade.

This monitor is one of several 3rd gen QD-OLED displays that have hit the market in the coveted 4k 32 inch form factor. Coming from an inexpensive QHD IPS panel, the display is a joy to behold. Comparing it to my old monitor side by side, the uneven backlight bleed and greyish blacks are downright ugly. True HDR displays are something else! All of this for 250-350 dollars less than it's peers makes this an easy recommendation over the others, and I fully recommend this monitor to anyone interested in a display upgrade. Pros: - Impressive contrast ratio and color calibration. (I have been using the srgb mode in SDR and the user mode for HDR with impressive results) - Very good motion clarity due to the 240hz oled panel - color fringing mentioned by others on 1440p models not noticeable to me with the higher ppi on this monitor - comprehensive suite of burn in prevention tools and a 3 year burn in warranty for peace of mind - KVM and 90w PD make hooking up a laptop alongside my desktop extremely convenient - firmware update-able - competitively priced! Cons: - VRR flicker is noticeable, especially on menus when you aren't hitting a preset frame limit or able to push the full 240hz refresh rate of the monitor if you don't set a frame cap - At the time of review, the EOTF tracking on the peak 1000 HDR mode leads to mid luminance values being darker than they should, and sometimes darker than the nominally lower brightness true black 400 mode. This should be fixable with a firmware update so I this should be a temporary problem - At the time of review, the monitor doesn't remember your profiles set for HDR and SDR content separately, meaning you have to fiddle with some settings every time you switch between the 2 if you prefer an sRGB clamp for accurate SDR content. Luckily this should be fixable via firmware update, and even without that it is relatively quick to change the settings in the gaming intelligence app

4k QD Oled at its finest

This monitor is really something special. It is exactly what I was looking for and at a fair price against the competition. I like the built in KVM the premium and sleek build that is not very gamer designed. It has excellent color calibration out of the box and works for both gaming and productivity work. I love how many inputs it has and especially that it has a usb c with display port to use with my MacBook. The only downside I can come up with is availability as it took me 2 months to get one, and that it isn’t the greatest in bright rooms because of the display coating. But it works as intended and has a very long warranty which I am very excited about. I don’t think I will need to upgrade for several years now. There is one other thing, when connected to a MacBook it causes the display to wake up every 20ish mins and I can’t seem to figure out how to stop it from doing that without turning it off every time I am finished, or turning off auto scan.

In my extensive experience with OLED televisions dating back to 2017, I've eagerly awaited the release of a 32-inch, 4K OLED monitor. Transitioning from my prior G8 OLED monitor, the upgrade to the 32 QD OLED proved to be an intuitive choice. This monitor boasts vibrant colors and infinite contrast, rendering visuals with remarkable clarity. Furthermore, its inclusion of two HDMI 2.1 ports and USB-C with 90W delivery ensures seamless connectivity and versatility. The competitive pricing, coupled with MSI's renowned commitment to product quality and service, solidifies its value proposition. Noteworthy enhancements such as the increase in pixel density and refresh rate contribute to an elevated viewing experience. As a graphic designer, I use this monitor for work, and the 3-year burn-in warranty from MSI provides peace of mind. Additionally, it serves as an excellent companion to my 4090 and PS5 for casual gaming, fulfilling all my multimedia needs. In summary, the 32 QD OLED emerges as a compelling choice for discerning users seeking performance and reliability in a monitor.

This is my first experience with a QD-OLED panel type monitor and I’m amazed by the visuals when gaming and watching content. The 32” QD-OLED 4k 240Hz monitor is replacing my 27” Nano IPS 1440p 144Hz. There are clear differences between the two. The OLED monitor has exceptional vibrant colors and contrast. The monitor has true black levels when watching dark scenes in movies compared to the washed out look on the Nano IPS. I’m enjoying the quick response times, high refresh rate and big screen size when gaming. Every game I played looks great and even more so when HDR is available within the game. Movies and TV shows look amazing with HDR, the colors pop more, look lively and have great saturation. Games and movie content still look great when HDR is not available. The monitor has a KVM feature which makes it better since I can now seamlessly transition from my PC to my laptop without swapping peripherals back and forth. When it comes to specs, features and pricing this is the best value OLED monitor to purchase.

I'm upgrading from QD-OLED 34” Ultrawide monitor that I enjoyed. After researching all the new 32in OLEDs I decided on the MSI MPG 321UREX. It looks sleek without all the distracting RGBs from the other brands. The stand is solid and very easy to put together. I didn’t even need a screwdriver. The image quality is excellent, brightness is good, deep blacks and response time is perfect. The text is very sharp and clear. The default settings seem pretty dialed-in right out the box, so I didn’t need to adjust a lot based on my personal preference. Gaming & videos looks great in SDR & HDR. I thought I would miss going from 34” widescreen, but I’m completely sold on this 32” monitor. Feels great to game in native 4K instead of 1440p. Monitor is very quiet compared to my last one. Definitely recommend getting this monitor.

This thing is incredible - Colors are jaw dropping

WOW! I've had all morning on this thing so far, it's incredible. I came from a 4k 160hz mini-led w/ a 240hz IPS 2nd monitor. The colors truly are jaw dropping coming from IPS. Text is crisp and sharp in windows (my biggest concern as this acts as a work monitor/gaming monitor). Zero concerns so far coming from my 4k Mini LED. I am glad I waited for the non curved OLED 240hz 4k panels coming out as I think the MSI is the best of the bunch on price / performance comparison to the other manufacturers. Gaming colors are so incredibly accurate (helldivers 2). Picture is max settings in helldivers 2. Hard to do it justice. Finding a desk mount for this big of a monitor is the only tricky thing. 27 was ideal for me, but we'll see how i can adapt to the 32! Grab when if you can, you won't be disappointed!!

This is the best value 240hz OLED 32-inch monitor you can get in the US...period. You get great colors and great contrast; it was super hard to get but it was worth it. The picture quality on this monitor is second to none. You will be amazed the first time playing a game on this monitor. It makes gaming 10x better. The monitor also has a 3-year warranty that covers burn in, so I am not too concerned about it. As far as 2024 OLEDs go, this is the one to get because it's the best value/picture around. Design is minimalist, not over the top, and those inky blacks are amazing. Super clean. Get one as soon as you can.

This monitor is stunning. The colors pop, blacks looks amazing and the display gets bright. Its also super smooth thanks to the 240hz refresh rate. I would definitely recommend this, the price is also amazing since its one of the cheapest 32 inch oleds. I would definitely recommend this to anybody looking at one of these monitors. It also has a really good 3 year no burn in warranty by MSI so theres nothing to worry about!

Great colors, fast refresh rate, incredibly quick response times. It's hard to find if there is any blur being produced by the monitor and professional reviewers will agree. The OLED panel care options are also sophisticated and it's convenient to be able to control the monitor in software instead of needing to use controls built into the panel alone. While most things are great, this panel is still OLED and still suffers from VRR flicker. While it's not that bad or noticeable above 120Hz, anywhere below that with dimmer scenes will be noticeable and jarring. This being a 4K panel will also make this fairly common in many gaming scenarios. There is also an issue where with the 'right' settings configured in the panel, if you are using the panel in KVM mode over USB C, the panel goes inactive or into sleep mode, and then you remove the type C cable before switching inputs, then it sort of gets stuck in USB C input as it's quite difficult to get the input selection back up without some display output

The Best QD-OLED Monitor of 2024

Incredible monitor. I just switched from a 34" Alienware QD-OLED Ultrawide monitor which had a 2nd Gen QD-OLED panel. While it was okay for text (work), I wasn't fully satisfied. With the 32" MPG 321URX QD-OLED with 3rd Gen QD-OLED panel, text is extremely sharp. Even better than IPS in my option and I can't even see text fringing like previous OLEDs. Along with the 4K resolution and 240Hz resfresh rate, this thing can't be beat. The build quality is quite nice as well. It feels well-buit and sturdy. One other thing that I like is how the OSD is designed. Not only is it easy to understand and use but the OSD is very good looking. It's just an added feature. The burn-in protection features also seem to be better than what the competition offers. Lastly with the 3-Year warranty gives owners peace of mind and it also covers burn-in.

Just as the title states, this will be my end game monitor. I have been waiting for this product to come back in stock like many others and was lucky enough to get one during a recent drop. Let me start by saying this thing is beautiful! I was a bit on the fence between an ultrawide monitor and this model because i wasn't sure if thirty-two inches was big enough but rest assured, once you set this monitor up, all doubt goes out the window! For context, i have this monitor connected to my PC with an rtx 4080 paired with a 7800x3d which is pretty high end and even then, the full potential of this monitor hasn't even begun to be tapped into. Very please with my purchase overall!

An excellent OLED gaming monitor for a very competitive price at $950. Great HDR, great motion clarity, deep blacks as you would expect. I’m only having some minor issues with the firmware. For example, the sRGB picture mode is really only meant for SDR but it doesn’t switch away from that mode when you turn on HDR, so you have to do it manually. All in all, extremely happy with my purchase.

Best monitor I've ever owned for gaming and media

I have had the MPG321URX for three weeks now, and despite my incredibly high expectations, it has met or surpassed them in nearly every way. I've owned OLED tablets and phones, but this is my first OLED monitor, so I was a bit nervous about potential problems, but so far it's been perfect. My unit arrived with 0 dead or stuck pixels. I haven't experienced any eye strain or headaches from using this monitor. The color banding OLEDs can be infamous for on dark grey images is very minimal on my unit, far less pronounced than I've seen on my tablets. Color uniformity on anything but very dark greys is extremely good. I had heard concerns about color fringing on text with this display technology, but from the distance I use this monitor, text looks extremely sharp (whether it's black-on-white or white-on-black text, it looks great either way). Overall picture quality is incredible. All my games and shows look better than ever. Coming from a 144hz 4k miniLED monitor, which I already thought was pretty good, the MPG321URX is still a huge step up in motion clarity, contrast, and color accuracy, and now I never want to go back to anything less. I'm not a color expert, but out-of-the box with zero user calibration, the colors on this screen look very accurate to my eye. I prefer "Game Mode -> User" for gaming and most animated content, and "Pro Mode -> sRGB" for live-action movies and TV. Beyond that, I haven't had to tweak color settings at all. I remain a bit nervous about image retention on the monitor, but I've activated all of the "OLED Care" features, and with MSI's 3-year warranty I feel a little more at ease. Although this is a high-end and expensive product, it's very competitively priced in the US, and it delivers an unparalleled experience for an unbeatable price in its class.
