Mai support and Best Buy support is really good. I called Mai up and they were very helpful and straight forward.

It’s a big boy, much bigger than the 4080 I have but it is a worthy upgrade in my rig. Especially since I always play my games at 4k high settings it does the job really well at high frame rates.

Extremely disappointed with Best Buy’s handling of a recent order involving three components. One item was sent to the wrong address (I had to track it down myself via a delivery photo), but the other two were much worse. These items required a signature for delivery. I was at work, but the OnTrac driver signed for the packages himself and marked them as delivered. No documentation was provided, no photo was taken, and the items are nowhere to be found. When I contacted Best Buy, they were completely unwilling to help. Despite the fact that a signature was forged by their chosen courier, they told me to 'reach out to local authorities' instead of opening a claim or investigating the driver. They have no information on who delivered it or why the signature requirement was bypassed. After speaking with multiple supervisors, trying to assess how they concluded their investigation with on Trac They had no response and told me the local of the authorities was the only option i had. This all started from Stockton not having the merchandise in store.

Runs games at extremely high frame rates and they look really good. However, the card runs very hot and noisy. Does not overclock well.

First time in forever I was able to get a GPU from beatbuy

Great card but had coil whine and runs much warmer than other partner cards.

Product was delivered to me as an open item. When I contacted BestBuy, they agreed to replace it and send me a new one. After a few days, the replacement GPU order was cancelled and when I contacted BestBuy, the CS rep told me they could no longer help me as only one replacement could be processed per order and since my replacement was cancelled by the “back office”, they could not help me. The only option I was given, was to drive an hour to the nearest store and return it. I offered two solutions, give me an open item discount and I would keep the GPU or send me a replacement that was unopened and I would return this one. The CS rep apologized and told me that my only option was to return it. Buyer beware, BestBuy will mail you an open/used $2.3k GPU and tell you to “take it, or return it”, placing all the inconvenience on you as the consumer. I’ve been a “Total” member for years, this didn’t seem to matter either. I hope this GPU doesn’t fail me, but I have little faith that BestBuy will do what’s in my best interest at this point. Buyer beware.

Horrible price to performance. The actual drivers are messed up, support is no existent. If you MUST have a 5090 by the cheapest one frames are not that much lower. However 9070XT is the best of bad choices we have in 2025. IF you can trust a used 4090 at $1400.00. Before you all start blaming Tariffs. Remember these are multi billion dollar companies. They didn't get this way by making "barely any profit"

Driver issues are still an issue. Unable to truly overclock.

Paying what would cost a downpayment on a vehichle just to be able to barely meet 60 FPS in 4K resolution on todays new titles feels like a kick in the face. Do yourself a favor and WAIT! Not to mention the 12 pin poer plug that the newest gen cards utilize is a flawed design in itself. The card itself is pretty, and performance wise it does what every other 5090 does. But the price DOES not match the performance. This card should be in a price bracket of no more then $1K. Thats top tier for what your paying for. But you can see the prices slowly coming down. Hopefully this trend conitnues and these cards do go down to the price they shouldve released for to begin with.

I purchased a Suprim on the 4th. It was supposed to deliver on the 9th. Its the 12th. Best buy says I have to wait until the 23rd!!!!! You have lost a 20+ year customer for life. You couldn't sell me gum after this.

contacted support and they refuse to give you the borderlands 4 code if you never receive the email with the code saying i need to contact msi and msi website says codes are sent out by retailers

Doesn't work. And MSI said they don't know how long it will be to replace it. And Best Buy said I can only return it but then I can't buy another one since they only sell one per account!

I’ve been using the MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC for a few days now, and this thing is an absolute beast. Games run buttery smooth at 4K with everything maxed out, and I haven’t seen a single stutter. Temps have been solid thanks to the triple-fan cooler, though it definitely dumps a lot of heat into the room. The only real downsides so far are the size, power draw, and price. It barely fits in my case, and you’re going to want a beefy PSU to handle it. At this price point, it’s hard to call it a “good value,” but if you want the top of the line and don’t mind the power needs, it’s been nothing short of amazing for me.
