When my RTX 2070 Super died I looked for a card with about the same benchmark as I was happy with the RTX 2070 and did not feel like spending $800+ on a card I didn't need. The RTX 3060 Ti was perfect. It had ample performance for my needs (Moderate Gaming, Video processing etc.) and at a price point that I was comfortable with. Its been a month and I am happy with this sub $500 card. Only thing that would have been nice is some RGB on the card but I cant have everything I guess.

I've owned this product for 2 years. during these two years i've had some ups and down with my pc. But this card has yet to come close to give me its all. i've ran cyberpunk 2077 at max with ray tracing and my copy was the bottle neck. this card runs almost all game at max or high with at least 60fps Pros: Runs everything at max or high have had zero thermal issues (as long as you have good airflow you shouldn't have an issue) Cons: price All and all this card gives great performance and really even rivals 40 series with cost to performance. if you are looking to get a 40 series save some money and get this.

Well I finally decided to give my Rig an upgrade with a new GPU coming from another MSI 1650 Super. This upgrade gave pretty much every game I ever play a massive improvement in frame rate, higher resolution, and better boost clock performance. Mine is coupled with an AMD Ryzen 5600X CPU, and is compatible with my Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming motherboard. They all run smooth with no hick ups. Installation was super easy, just plug and play. It is a bigger gpu than my 1650 so I was happy it just about fit in my mid tower case with no issues. It has a bit of weight so I would suggest maybe opting in for a gpu support bracket to take the full weight off the side with the pin connectors. But all preference. I was able to get it for about 370 on sale here at Best Buy and I’m extremely happy with this affordable upgrade being that my 1650 super from Amazon was about 270 which I bought 3 years or so back. If you’re thinking about doing it and are having doubts, but can’t afford to go higher atm, I’d say go for it until you can manage to pull off a higher Gen in the future. Good luck with your rigs and may the “GeForce” be with you (to my SW fans) hehe.

Now that we have the 40 series (and soon to be the 50 series), my 3060 ti sits in the closet and gathers dust, waiting for the day that it can be put into another build and enjoyed by someone else. With that being said, if you want to get a card that consistently performs well for all titles, and doesn’t break your wallet in the process, this should be your go to. I play mainly fps titles, and to give an example of the consistency regarding fps in bigger-name titles, here are a few of the breakdowns in my experience: Apex: consistent 185 (capped it in order to keep supergliding) Fortnite: 160-175 Valorant: 205-225 Hogwarts Legacy: 120 Keep in mind, I was playing all of these titles at 1080. To sum it up, if you want a great card, look no further!

Upgrading from the 1060 to this has beeb night and day. Im grtting great fps on my screens. Still running it through some tests to see how much I can push it. So far I’ve gotten over 160 fps constant and i’m not complaining. Would definitely recommend this card versus getting a 40 series especially if you want to save some money without sacrificing performance.

Solid graphics card. Was able to play RDR2 on it with pretty high settings resulting in great quality and framerate. Currently playing the first Horizon game in 4K with DLSS enabled and it runs like butter. Not top of the line by any means but good value for the price.

If you're looking for something that will handle high end graphics but not break the bank, this is probably a good card to start and try out with. While you cannot run the absolute max graphics for most newer titles, you can definitely run that next level down or two very comfortably. Definitely not the absolute best out there, but is still a great powerhouse for an average or casual gaming enthusiast. Switching to this from a 1070 ti was a game changer for me, and could be for you too without spending 1.5k+ on the latest and greatest cards.

Great upgrade from an older AMD card!

Coupled this with an upgraded ultrawide monitor for my son's gaming rig (succeeded an AMD Radeon 5600XT) - this card was considerably more massive but was still easy enough to get into a full-sized case. Noticed immediate improvements in top frame rates across numerous demanding games like Atomic Heart and effectively maxed-out Rainbow Six: Siege as far as graphical settings. Definitely added a little more heat to the mix, but the case fans have been sufficient to keep the card in the low-to-mid 80's without overly stressing the card - in face I'm quite sure it's more capable than we've been pushing it, but the demand just isn't there! Even as a last-gen card at this point, this one was highly rated across the board for value/power, and that's been our experience so far. Now that the GPU/crypto insanity has calmed down a bit, cards like this are far more available and prices are less absurd - so make the leap if you can!

Went in to just pick up a AIO when I went in they had a restock on GPUs and I picked this up on a whim. HUGE upgrade from my 1660 Ti went from medium settings to ultra or 8-9 in most games. If you see it and you got the money grab it

I recently flipped to the other side: AMD graphics. Although there was not any major issue, i kept seeing the VRAM max out on the smallest task. I decided to return to Nvidia and with this card, I am impressed. I recommend this csrd for a mid to migh level of gaming.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti is a highly capable graphics card that delivers outstanding performance at a relatively affordable price. With its powerful Ampere architecture, it excels in both gaming and content creation tasks. The inclusion of ray tracing and DLSS enhances visual quality, offering a more immersive gaming experience. While cooling and noise levels may vary depending on the model, the card's power efficiency ensures stable operation without excessive power consumption. With improved availability and reasonable pricing, the RTX 3060 Ti is an excellent choice for those seeking a high-performance mid-range GPU without breaking the bank.

MSI Ventus 3X RTX 3060ti Review

I purchased this model two weeks ago; so far it's performed very well. For reference, I upgraded from a GTX 970 with an AM4 platform (Ryzen 5 3600). This card has no issues so far running any game I play at 1440p above 60FPS--most games can achieve 100+ with settings adjustments. Temps are overall fine; not the best you would see from 3060ti AIB models, but I've yet to see it go over 62C under load. One small caveat to consider though: I had an older PSU from 2013 that was 620W (Which on paper should be enough to handle this system), but I was getting hardware-protection related shutdowns while gaming. This is not a fault of the card, but rather a fault of mine; I'm just listing this here just in case anyone else has the same issue. Replacing the supply has fixed the issue as of writing this review. To conclude, if this card is sub-$450 I would recommend considering buying it. It's a great 1440p card that can also push high frame-rates at that resolution with smart setting adjustments or if you play lighter and/or esports titles. This is not an upper-tier AIB so $450 is honestly a breaking point for this particular card. However, thermals and acoustics are more than fine for this die. If you want a card as a show-piece, this card is not for you; it's a no-frills card with no RGB so if that matters to you, look elsewhere. You also of course gain the suite of additional features that Ampere cards offer: RTX, DLSS, NVENC encoder, etc. If you don't care about these features though, consider buying a RX 6700XT from AMD; you can find them under $400 sometimes and the performance is about the same, while also having an extra 4GB of VRAM (not that I've run into memory issues with this card yet even at 1440p).
