Honestly, an upgrade from a 3080ti

I had a 3080ti and it’s astonishing how much cooler and quieter this thing runs. If you play in 1440p, this card is for you 100%. If you play in 4k you might wanna go for a 4080 instead. It may not be an upgrade on paper, but if you only play in 1440p, then you won’t notice any performance difference between this and a 3080ti

Not upset about my decision!

Hot VRAM - get different model

However, some GPU experts have found that this card does not have sufficient cooling on some of the vram. 97 degree hotspot at top of pcb due to vram not having contact with any heat sink (other 4070's were around 60 degrees). Thinking of returning and getting a different model for less chance of failure in the future.
