Hello, my first ever DIY high-end build with this card. Meets and exceeds my expectations in 4k gaming.

I hate myself for buying this, but if you're looking for the absolute best card out right now, here it is.

Received card dead on arrival. Tried upgrading from my 3080 Ti to this for better frames in VR. Swapped over the cards and was not receiving any signal, nor were the fans spinning. I was able to get into BIOS when plugged into onboard graphics, but not through the card. Began troubleshooting; - Tried to boot with 2 sticks of RAM instead of 4, as sometimes DDR5 can be finicky. No luck. - Tried every PCI cable individually with my 3080 Ti. All booted up and launched perfectly fine, so not an issue with the PSU cables. Chocking it up to an issue with the card itself, or the 3 to 1 PCI adapter. Regardless, returning and trying my luck with another 4090 once one becomes available. Current PC Specs: i7-14700K ASUS ROG Strix Z790-F CORSAIR VENGEANCE 64GB (4x16GB) 6000MHz DDR5 CORSAIR RM1000x 80+ Gold PSU MSI RTX3080 Ti Ventus 3X Pictures are showing the MSI RTX 3080 Ti vs the RTX 4090 Slim. 3080 Ti is on top. Also pictured is the 3 to 1 cable that may be faulty.

Great card, just over priced in my opinion. should be around 1300.

Awesome card. Definitely worth it. Great for anyone with an interest in gaming and 3d design. It’s a rather chonkey card so always make sure you have enough space for airflow in your case

This is a true 4k gaming experience. It really is like no other. If you have a 4k 240hz monitor and want the most unreal experience this is the way to go.

Runs at roughly 145 F under load, quiet with no coin whine. It’s big, but not as big as I thought it would be and comfortably fit in my 4000D case. It feels a little plasticky, but that’s probably for the best, you don’t want it any heavier than it already is. The included support bracket is a nice thought, but it’s utterly useless, poorly designed and surprisingly flimsy once installed. Order a $10 GPU stand/support on Amazon, because it is heavy and you don’t want to put undue stress on the piece connecting into the PCIe slot on the motherboard. Also, it comes with an NVIDIA 12VHPWR cable/adapter, but do yourself a favor and order the Corsair Premium 12VHPWR cable, it’s much easier to manipulate and looks much cleaner. They offer both a 4.0 and a 5.0 cable depending on what generation of motherboard you have, so pay attention to that.

The card was missing a part, and I ended up returning it. In my opinion MSI customer support was terrible, best buy customer support was great.

Good card, slimmer than the previous version, does not overheat or anything, I get within 2% of the average benchmark scores for the average 4090, so no noticeable loss of performance vs the others. Runs cool, even under load, fans don't spin up like a hair dryer for me at least, but I have a giant case with tons of fans that are already aggressive about spinning up on their own based on cpu. Also, the bracket is great and necessary, but be sure that the rubber tab is on it and you don't take it off. Some reviewers did that and stated it was useless. False, you just have to read the instructions...
