It’s pretty good for a gpu that doesn’t require a pcie cable, but it does get close to its max load pretty quickly

This RTX 3050 has been a great upgrade for my mid-range PC build. It handles modern games at 1080p smoothly, even on high settings, and runs very quietly thanks to the dual-fan cooler. The build quality feels premium, and installation was simple. While it’s not meant for heavy 4K gaming, it’s perfect for esports titles and general use. Great balance of performance, efficiency, and design.

I’ve been using the MSI NVIDIA RTX 3050 Gaming X 6G (6GB) graphics card, and I’m really happy with the performance it delivers. It handles 1080p gaming beautifully—even on modern titles—with high settings and smooth frame rates. The cooling system is fantastic. MSI’s Twin Frozr design keeps the card running quiet and cool, even during long gaming sessions. The fans are super quiet, and the overall build quality feels solid and premium. What really stands out is the DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) and ray tracing support. Games that support these features look incredible, and DLSS helps maintain high performance without sacrificing image quality. Installation was easy, and the MSI Center software gives great control over performance, RGB lighting, and fan profiles. If you’re looking for a reliable, efficient, and feature-packed GPU for gaming, creative work, or everyday use, the RTX 3050 6GB Gaming X is a fantastic choice. It offers excellent value for the price and is perfect for gamers who want next-gen features without breaking the bank.

If you want to play games, but dont want to spend a bunch, this is the card for you. Even though this is a mid/lower end card compared to what is out now, it still runs games great. I've had no problem running flight simulator 24 on mid/high settings, and other higher demand games. Quiet and low energy consumption. This card runs a lot quieter than my older card, i barely notice its even running when gaming.

I’ve been using the RTX 3050 for a while now and honestly, it’s been great. It handles all the games I play really well — stuff like Marvel Rivals and Apex Legends run smoothly at medium settings. Temps stay low and the fans are pretty quiet too. I’m not a super hardcore gamer, but for someone who wants good performance without breaking the bank, this card is perfect. Also does a decent job with video editing and multitasking. MSI’s build quality feels solid, and the setup was super easy. Definitely happy with this purchase!

The MSI NVIDIA RTX 3050 GAMING X 6G is a hidden gem for anyone seeking a powerful, efficient, and quiet graphics card. Its standout feature is its ability to run entirely off the PCI Express slot without needing an additional 6-pin power connector. This makes it an excellent choice for minimal builds or systems with power supply constraints. When it comes to performance, I was thoroughly impressed. Despite its modest power draw, this card delivers solid 1080p performance across a wide range of games. Whether you’re tackling the latest AAA titles or enjoying competitive esports games, the RTX 3050 handles it all with ease. The GDDR6 memory and PCIe 4.0 compatibility ensure smooth and consistent performance, and the card runs whisper-quiet even under heavy gaming loads. What really sets this card apart is its versatility. It’s not just a gaming powerhouse—it also excels in AI and machine learning tasks. CUDA, cuDNN, and PyTorch workflows run efficiently, making it a fantastic option for developers or hobbyists working in AI/ML. Its power efficiency combined with great computational capabilities makes it a well-rounded choice. The MSI GAMING X design also adds a premium touch, with excellent build quality and cooling performance. It's sleek, understated, and perfect for any build. Overall, the RTX 3050 GAMING X 6G is an incredible choice for gamers and developers alike. Its blend of efficiency, performance, and quiet operation makes it a standout option in its class. Highly recommended for anyone looking to build a compact yet capable system!

Great card for a computer with a low wattage power supply. I installed the video card in a computer with a 260 watt power supply and I can now use this computer to edit videos with the free version of DaVinci Resolve. This card does not need external power. It draw its power from the PCIe slot. It gave new life to an old computer.

This Graphics Card was a replacement for my failing 5 year old NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 graphics card that had only 1 fan on it. Installation was easy, maybe 5 - 7 minutes, and no longer needed the power plug...graphic card, no doubt, gets it's power from the motherboard. The only issue is downloading/install the driver for the card...very confusing what driver to download/install, since two 3050 are listed on their web site...found it easier just to download/install the NVIDIA app and let the app do all the work. After installing the driver, everything works just fine!!!

Amazing graphics card. It’s cheap but works perfectly for 1080p gaming. I haven’t tried higher resolution’s only because my monitor is cheap. This is a great graphics card for a budget friendly build. The new intel cards are of course better but until the scalpers give up their raid on it this is the best priced card around.

Good graphics card, if you can get it under retail price, I believe it is a good value. Definitely held back by the speed of the interface, memory bandwidth, memory size and gpu speeds. There are a lot of titles out there that this card can run at a decent, playable speed.
