    I have a dead pixel already, only 2 days after purchase. I'm going to return it because it drives me crazy to have that annoying dead pixel when I'm watching movies or playing games. I'm ok getting an exchange.

    I was hesitant to purchase this, being 1080P with 27". Also, reading some reviews on older Optix models, I was a little hesitant at first. I was hesitant because earlier reviews of this monitor outlined a number of issues, all which seemed to be fixed with this model. I decided to go with this monitor on a black Friday sale because it was discounted. I must say, I am pleasantly surprised with this purchase, so much so I am writing a review, something I normally skip. The colors look great, the size is perfect, it is not pixelated at the distance I sit (about 2 and a half feet) from the monitor. Even though it is not an IPS panel, it is perfect for my gaming. Granted I am a casual, and not competitive gamer. Even reading reviews and watching videos, 1080P with 144Hz on a 27" monitor seemed to be my sweet spot, for price and features. I have tried running this with a custom resolution of 2560x1440, which still ran great at 144Hz. Although I did not see a benefit, I switched back to the native 1080P.
