Here's an in-depth review of its features, performance, and value proposition. Design and Build Quality The MSI Stealth 14 immediately impresses with its ultra-thin design and Star Blue color, which strikes a balance between modern aesthetics and professional appeal. Weighing around 3.75 pounds and boasting a compact 14-inch form factor, it’s ideal for users who need portability without sacrificing performance. The laptop also features customizable RGB lighting on the keyboard, which can be adjusted via MSI's Dragon Center software for those who enjoy personalization. Display: Immersive and Vibrant The 14-inch FHD+ display with a 165Hz refresh rate is one of the standout features of this laptop. The resolution of 1920x1200 and the high refresh rate ensure buttery-smooth gameplay and excellent visuals, whether you're gaming or editing videos. Color accuracy is commendable, covering a wide color gamut suitable for professional creative tasks. The brightness levels are adequate for both indoor and outdoor use, and the matte finish reduces glare, enhancing usability under different lighting conditions. Performance: A Gaming Powerhouse Under the hood, the MSI Stealth 14 packs a 13th Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor paired with 16GB of DDR5 memory. This combination delivers exceptional performance for multitasking, gaming, and productivity tasks. The 10-core processor ensures a smooth experience even when running multiple resource-intensive applications simultaneously. The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU with 8GB of VRAM takes gaming and rendering capabilities to the next level. Whether you're playing AAA titles like Cyberpunk 2077 or working on 3D modeling projects, this GPU handles it effortlessly. The support for ray tracing adds a layer of realism to graphics, making your gaming sessions more immersive. In benchmarks, the laptop performs exceptionally well, maintaining high frame rates in modern games on medium to high settings. The combination of the RTX 4060 and 165Hz display ensures minimal screen tearing and input lag. Storage and Memory The inclusion of a 1TB SSD provides ample storage for games, media, and applications. The SSD also ensures fast boot times, quick application launches, and seamless data transfers. The 16GB of DDR5 RAM ensures smooth multitasking, and the memory can handle demanding applications like video editing software and virtual machines with ease. Thermal Management The compact design of gaming laptops often leads to concerns about thermal performance, but the MSI Stealth 14 doesn’t disappoint. Compact and Lightweight Gaming Laptop | W's | GG
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The MSI Stealth 14 Studio is a compact and lightweight gaming laptop, but it still packs plenty of power with 13th-gen Intel processors and up to an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060. It weighs less than 4 pounds, and it's just 19mm thick. This is the laptop you want if you're looking for something powerful, sleek, and lightweight. The MSI Stealth 14 Studio delivers with its impressive specifications. When it comes to gaming laptops, it's all about power in a compact size. Well, the MSI Stealth 14 Studio hits all the right notes, powered by a 13th-gen Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and 1TB of internal storage. In addition, the MSI Stealth 14 Studio comes with a 14-inch display with a 165hz refresh and 3ms response time. Furthermore, you get Nvidia's GeForce RTX 4060, which is great for gaming and creative work. While all of this is nice, the highlight feature here is that all of this fits in a compact and lightweight package, with the MSI Stealth 14 Studio weighing in at just 3.75 pounds and measuring in at just 19mm thick. And just because it's thin doesn't mean you lose connectivity options here, with the laptop offering Thunderbolt 4, HDMI, USB-A, and USB-C. via TIMI CANTISANO @ XDA

MSI great portable travel gaming system
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this unit because I was looking for something that was powerful enough to play my games, yet portable enough I didn't break my back carrying it around. I found it in the Stealth, This system features a streamlined design, and GPU that will pretty much play anything out there, battery life is not the greatest, I got about 1:15 playing Resident Evil 4, and it does run hot. but all in all a great laptop for people on the go. Pro's: lightweight compact design. upgradeable Great display 120hz refresh rate decent battery life Cons's runs hot Does not have a second M.2 slot, but that's what external SSD's are for, so no big deal. Display not 4K

||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Got this laptop on Black Friday with pretty decent price. The i7 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 deliver excellent performance, while the 165Hz FHD+ display enhances gaming visuals. The 1TB SSD ensures ample storage, and the sleek blue design adds a touch of style. My only minor gripe is the price, but overall, it's a powerful and stylish gaming machine.

Great laptop for creatives or gamers
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great computer, great processing speeds when rendering 3D graphics and similar applications that require large amounts of memory. The only thing is the cooling fans will run loud when doing any heavy duty processing, but it gets the job done. Lightweight, portable, the battery life could be better but that’s probably partially to blame on the multicolor backlit keyboard.

Gamer Review - GREAT LAPTOP
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I just bought this laptop for my birthday last week (34 years old, yay - lol). First - a frame of reference for the computers I typically game on, games I play, and how this laptop compares. This MSI Stealth was replacing an Alienware 17' RS I7-6820HK, 980M, 16GB DDR4, 256GB SSD & 1TB HDD. The Alienware could not play COD, barely played Elden Ring, and could not handle more than 1 screen of World Of Warcraft at a time. I even play OSRS, and the old Alienware could not play 2 instances of OSRS on my dual monitor setup without dropping frames and lagging to the point of being unplayable. My desktop is a IBuyPower custom built - Y60BG205 - I9-13900KF, 3080 10GB dedicated GDDR6, 2TB SSD, 32GB 3600 MHZ DDR4 Ram. At the time of purchase, about $2,200.00 US. This Desktop obviously can play any and all games on ultra settings with relatively high frame rate. Some games like Star Citizen I hover around 100FPS. COD, no problem, I can have 4 instances of WoW open, no problem. I haven't found a game yet that it doesn't play on ultra settings with well over 60 FPS. All that to say... this new laptop is 'comparable' to my desktop PC mentioned above that was twice the price. It can play all AAA games I play on my desktop with no lag and relatively high frame rate. If you play WoW, League of Legends, Elden Ring, New World, COD, any of those games you'll have zero issues playing them on this laptop. The display is beautiful, the laptop has remained relatively cool for me with no heating issues. I do not think that is one of the problems with these new Stealth 14' laptops as they've really done a great job with their cooling compared to previous years. I do not use this laptop in my lap as I use it on a stand with a dual screen on a rolling desk pulled over my bed. So, this is my gaming machine when I want to lay back in bed and play and not sit in my computer chair. The PC comes with quite a bit of bloatware from Best Buy, so be ready to go into "add or remove programs" and uninstall a bunch of garbage. Most importantly, get rid of Norton Anti-virus. It's a power hog, and you don't need anti-virus in 2024 - Windows Defender is plenty. Also, go into startup and click off the 20 something programs this machine comes pre-installed to run on startup. This will be a big quality of life improvement and reduce the RAM being used while you are using the machine. 95% of the programs running on startup are unnecessary. The keyboard feels amazing compared to most laptops that feel very cheap and clicky (if that makes since). The keyboard has a very rubbery feeling when you click the buttons in, and feels great (I'd almost use the term gooey?). Also, the keyboard is quiet, far from any clicking noise like a mechanical keyboard would make. So, I can use it in class, or next to others in an airport/work without distracting others. The 17' Alienware I was replacing weighed literally somewhere in the range of 10-15 lbs with the power adapater in my backpack. For traveling for work or carrying to school to finish up my degree this was not ideal. The MSI Stealth is SO lightweight for the power it puts out. Overall, I have had zero issues with this laptop, and at $949.00 I would say if you can get it on sale at Best Buy snag it as soon as you can. It's the best bang for the buck right now. Happy gaming all.

Nice, little PC
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice looking laptop, quality built. Fast and portable. Good speakers, keyboard is ok, too. There are 2 little flaws: 1. fans are poorly optimized. PC warms up pretty fast, and after reaching certain temperature, fans start blasting up and down. And they keep ramping on and off, every like 30 sec. It's not regular, steady air blowing, it's just going up to blast, then down and up again. PC is not overheating, actually temperatures are pretty good. It's just the noise. I've tried adjust the fans setting, updated BIOS, still the same. Maybe it is designed like that. 2. my unit battery didn't charge to 100%, max was 98%, even while it was plugged in all the time. If you don't mind little annoying fans noise, it is a good laptop. For me it was a deal breaker.

Great portibility and performance.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I exchanged this for the ASUS G16 that is cheaper with same specs and bigger screen. Screen feels smaller than 14 inches but that is just because the borders around it take up a lot. Great performance on FPS games. Great portability. Cons are the fan noise and battery life but that is to be expected from a gaming laptop. The battery life does drain pretty fast when not plugged in and you are just watching youtube or something like that. The laptop also tends to perform kind of slow if you are downloading something.

Great Laptop Overall
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've had this laptop for a week now and so far I am in love. Handles games fantastic. Gives great performance on multiple AAA titles with no issues. As a programmer I also bought this with coding in mind and it works beautifully for that too, quickly compiling C++ programs with ease. My 2 gripes are the battery life, which drains a little quickly while just being on chrome, and the fan noise which can be excessive due to how hot the computer can run. Overall, and fantastic laptop, and a fantastic deal if you can get it on sale.

Great Things in Small Packages.
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to replace my previous gaming laptop and it works marvelously for games I'm playing. Works well with modded Fallout 4 (A Storywealth Collection from Nexus Mods), HBS' Battletech with BEX mods, and works fine with Starfield modded. What I really love is the compact design, so it's not super heavy while carrying it everywhere. Worth the price.

Absolute Beast
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Probably one of my “Best Buy’s” laptop is an absolute monster for its size it kinda runs a little hot but it’s not affecting me that much also fans are on the loud side if you tune it to max but it’s worth it in my opinion. It’s really small and light so I’m able to take to my job as I spend most of my hours there. Definitely would recommend. Not too sure about battery life because it’s always plugged in for me for max performance.

Great so far
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. Perfect screen size for me. 13 inch is too small and 15 is too big but 14 is perfect. Also can't get over the keyboard. Able to run some triple A titles with no issues. Be ready for the laptop to sound like it is going to take off. The fans are loud of course but I use a headset so it don't bother me

First MSI Gaming Laptop
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is my 2nd gaming laptop I'm coming from an HP Pavilion with GTX 1050 3GB Ryzen 5 3550H The laptop is stylish, I love the keyboard and the lighting effects. while gaming it does get warm if the fans are not on full speed. Fans are loud when gaming (Which doesn't bother me) Battery life is fair only lasting about 3-4 hours while listening to music and browsing the web. Later I'll upgrade RAM to 32GB and NVME to 4TB. Handles any game with ease. Camera quality needs to improve, audio is great. I recommend getting a Wireless Bluetooth gaming mouse if you want to use the single USB port for something else it does have 2 USB C Ports and HDMI port; bought a USB C to ethernet adapter (which can only be used on the left side USB C, not the right side)

Pretty good
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think this is a great laptop over all. I purchased it during Black Friday so for the price I got it at ($1099), it really good deal. Picture is clear and colors are good, high refresh rate great. The battery life is kinda mid if you're doing anything intense, but if Im doing something intense Im typically able to plug in so its fine. The mousepad is a little firm, kinda annoying. But that was my only major complaint as far as expected functionality. I did end up returning it, but only because I found another last minute deal that was a little better. All in all, pretty decent. If it's in budget and you're getting it on sale I'd say go for it. Off sale, I think its a B+ purchase.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to set up and has been great for a beginner gamer! BG3 has been amazing to play on this! Does run hot pretty quickly, but a cooling pad has helped with that. Not sure about battery life since it's always plugged in when I play.

Extremely pleased!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this laptop to replace a less expensive open box that did not work out. This machine has exceeded my expectations. My primary game is WoW and it cranks 300+FPS if uncapped. Other games, like Modded Skyrim, GTA5 and others run very cleanly. With the internal 1TB HDD I've got over half my space left even after all the big game are installed. I'm very happy with the performance and setup. Display is gorgeous and Windows Hello with the 3D camera is a fun addition to make it more MacBook-like (also, it compares very favorably to my 2021 MacBook Pro M1Max.)

||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this PC as a school computer. Great Performance, Bad Battery, Loud Fans
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great laptop especially if you get the mid tier model with the Nvidia GeForce 4060, but the battery life truly is disappointing, so much so that I had to return it, but this isn’t a problem for people who don’t need to use battery power for large amounts of time, also the fans do get very very loud especially when playing games, other than those 2 problems it really is a great laptop with great performance.
