This trimmer is very versatile as you can easily swap out the razor head with various shavers and trimmers. I also like that it is cordless because I often trim outside and don't have to look for a wall outlet. Also, the heads easily twist on and off but still stay in place firmly. And finally, the fact that it is waterproof is nice. Not just because you can use it in the shower, but because you can rinse it off and clean it in the sink without worrying about submersing it. I have only used the trimmer a few days so I can't speak to its durability, but it seems solid so far.

This is a great trimmer with a lot of useful attachments. Charges quickly and the battery lasts a long time. I like that you can use it wet or dry also.

So for the last year+ I have been using a previous model of the Norelco groomer. Same features, and attachments. What makes this one really good, is the Water-Safe ability, and the power. This groomer has a much stronger motor, and provides a much smoother process. The attachments allow even grooming across the entire body. Easy to clean and charge as well. Leather case to keep all the attachments in, and travel safe. The only negative, is it is a little heavy and big to use as a nose-hair trimmer. Other than that, great addition to the bathroom and grooming

Overall, this little Norelco trimmer is a handy tool to have in your grooming arsenal. The biggest problem is that they seem to have designed it to be the only tool, but it falls short on a number of key points. The good first...decent battery life of one hour easily gets you through all your normal trimming needs for multiple sessions. Charging time vs. run time is basically a one to one ratio, so if you need a quick touch-up, a quick plug in should suffice. That's one of the downsides. This trimmer does not work when plugged into the wall...there's no bypass to the charging so if you're in a big hurry you are out of luck. Many of the included combs are flimsy and, in my estimation, worthless. The markings are small and difficult to read. The adjustments sometimes have a tendency to change when you put the combs back in the included bad, meaning you have to double (or triple) check to be sure the right setting is being used, lest you end up taking off a lot more than intended. The combs can move around a bit when attached if you aren't careful which again could lead to an oops moment. The precision and nose hair trimmer attachments work well so that's a plus. I have yet to venture into using the body shaver, but it appears to be decently designed, although it does seem to have trimmers on both sides so its usefulness may not be the best. The unit is relatively loud, especially when used around the ears, so nte this if you are sensitive to loud sounds. Overall, despite these shortcomings, the trimmer works well, seems to have no problems cutting through hair cleanly and without pulling. Cleanup is fairly easy as you can run water over it without fear of destroying it, but there is no included brush for touch-up or dry cleanings.

The first thing I did was to plug the unit in to charge before using. It was easy to connect the charger plug and the unit charged up pretty quickly, however, was immediately disappointed that there was not a charging stand since the shaver was just lying on the counter charging. Not a neat look in the bathroom. After it was charged, I tried it out that night before I went to bed. The nose and ear trimmer performed very well and the trimmer was easy to insert into the nose and did a great job. I probably won't have to do it for quite a while since it trimmed all the hair quite deeply. Ear trimming was just as easy and pain free. I then started to shave my face and found that the shave was not as close and smooth as I would have liked. I normally use a razor with shaving foam. I should also say that my beard hair is what I consider fine and not the stiff coarse hair others have. Since the shave was not smooth, I started to press the shaver into my skin to try to get a closer shave. As I started to apply pressure, the unit had more drag on my skin and started to slow down and the handle was getting hot like the motor was straining. I wasn't thrilled about that. After shaving with the unit, I still was not happy with how smooth my skin was and finished with my usual razor. Another thing I thought was missing was an eyebrow trimmer. Mine gets unruly sometimes and needs to be kept neat. I tried trimming them with one of the attachments, but the results were not the best and the cut was way too close to the skin. Thank goodness hair does grow back! So, all in all, I would recommend this as a great nose and ear hair trimmer, and if one normally uses an electric shaver and likes the results, then this would fit the bill!

Having used other wet/dry trimmers, this trimmer definitely is at the top of the list. It is well built and designed to give a good feel in the hand and good control. The various combs and attachments are well conceived and fit easily on the trimmer. I have found the battery life to be adequate providing several trimming sessions. The cut is accurate and complete depending on the comb setting you choose. Overall, this is a very good quality trimmer.

Just received today and was pleasantly surprised. Trims with ease. Very simple and easy to use. I was expecting it to be heavy like a razor and it is actually very light weight and easy to hold. I did not care for the nose hair attachment, I will still use my other tool for that purpose. All the other attachments work great. The carry/storage bag is very roomy and holds all components including the power cord with room to spare so I can actually fit my electric shaver in as well when going on a trip.

I've been eyeballing these groomers for a while now, but didn't ever pull the trigger. I received this and after a full charge gave it a go. It's about what I was expecting - no frills. The actual face shaver had issues at my neckline (I'm not an electric razor guy) and there are a good amount of attachments for other areas. To spare you the details, the groomer does groom well. Glad I elected to get this sent my way!

I've used quite a few different beard trimmers over the years, but never one with as many attachments/uses as this. The trimmer itself is waterproof which means you can use it in the shower. This is key for me, as I simply don't have time in the morning to do a separate shaving pass outside the shower. The motor is very powerful and makes short work of my various hairs. I've never actually owned a nose/ear hair trimmer before so I don't know how this one compares to others out there. But, overall, it's a fantastic addition to an already capable set of tools. The only real issues I have with this product are fairly small. First, you can't use it while it's plugged in. I suppose this makes sense as it's intended to be used in the shower. But, I can also foresee a case where you NEED to shave outside the shower, and you've let the battery die. The quick charge time of an hour is nice, but it won't help in that case. Second, the combs that attach to the motor to keep the blades at a distance require some practice to get proficient with them. The first time I tried to use the beard comb, I actually took off a good chunk of my beard and had to trim down to a goatee to salvage things. Finally, the shaver head simply isn't a match for a good old-fashioned razor. So, be prepared to keep your old razor at hand for the finishing touches. (I've never gotten a satisfactory shave from a motorized razor, so, maybe that's just me.) Recommended, especially if you are looking to replace an older trimmer.

The Norelco multigroom trimmer performs well, comes with a multitude of provided attachments, some useful, some not. The trimmer is fairly well built with a plastic, metal colored housing that has a robust charging plug that securely attaches to the trimmer itself. The unit charges fairly quickly, I have not used it enough to determine how much usage you can get from a single charge. One piece of advice is to read the multilanguage manual (essentially a large single foldout page, I would have preferred a little pamphlet as the foldout page is unwieldy). Learn what each of the attachments do before using, I used the body comb attachment as opposed to the stubble comb when trimming my beard and had an issue with hair getting clogged up in the attachment, it was a messy situation. The feature that I really like is the fine tuning you can do with adjusting the trim level, using the scale of notches that the attachments snap onto, you note each setting (by number) so you can remember your favorite trimming level (avoiding the "well I screwed up, shave it all off" syndrome). I have not used the bodygroom shaver attachment but it appears it will do a good job preserving that “five o’clock shadow”. The groomer also comes with a handy travel bag. If there is one negative, it is the nose hair trimmer, it is ineffective and difficult to use. Looking at the whole package, this groomer delivers on performance, comes with a number of useful attachments and is a good value.

When looking at a trimmer, I wanted something sharp that will not cut me as I am using it. I had a different one I used before, and it was nice, but when I used it on my body it would cut me if I didn't use it at the perfect angle. My primary uses besides using it as a body trimmer is to use it to shape my beard. For both of these things it is excellent. First, the battery life is great. I have not used it for the life of the battery yet, but already it lasts longer than my previous trimmer. I do tend to bounce between the normal setting and the higher speed setting for my more course hair. It actually does make a difference. There are a variety of accessories for this trimmer, many more than my old one. I was skeptical about the fact the various trimmer guards almost cup themselves around the actually trimmer head, but after using it they actually work well and the make it MUCH easier to clean. The detailed trimmer heads work really well in shaping my beard, and they cut really close without cutting me. The leather carry case was a nice surprise as well. As far as the wet/dry ability of the trimmer, I have not actually used it in the shower. I have used it after a shower when my hair was still wet, and it worked like a champ. This is something I would not have done with my old trimmer, as it would have destroyed it. When it cuts dry hair, it works just as well. I was very impressed when cutting wet hair though, as you know hair after a shower is much softer and my skin gets irritated easily. This was a great thing for me, so I don't get razor burn anywhere. I think for what you get with this trimmer, it is priced well and the value is there. All the accessories, the battery life, the ease of cleaning and the durable feel to the trimmer make me arrive at my rating for the device. If would recommend it for anyone that wants an all around work horse.

This is one of those products that you don't have many expectations for but you end up being pleasantly surprised. This little product comes with everything you need to groom your facial and body hair. As someone who regularly trims their chest, sideburns, groin area, underarms, and facial hair, I put this new Philips trimmer to the test. Wow. Very surprised at how smooth and fast this thing trims hair. I love the adjustable hair clipping comb that allows you to choose how much hair you want to clip. This was particularly useful for my sideburns. I also found the "Turbo boost" button to be useful when trimming more dense areas such as the groin region. The fact that it's shower proof is a huge bonus. No more standing over the toilet when trimming! The nose trimmer was a pleasant addition to this multi-grooming kit. It trims my nose hairs better than my current nose hair trimmer which has been highly reviewed for years. I will be using the Philips nose hair trimmer now instead. Big kudos to Philips for also including a leather pouch. The size is perfect too as it allows you to keep everything together including the charger. The build quality of the trimmer seems pretty decent. The handle is an all plastic construction but it does feel very solid and sturdy in the hand. The one thing that I do wish Philips would have included is a small brush to clean the hairs off the grooming head. Luckily, I received one with my old trimmer that I can continue to use. Philips did, however, include a small bottle of lubrication for regular maintenance. Bottom line? This trimmer is leagues ahead of the 40 dollar trimmer that I've been using for years. It trims and clips effortlessly and I never felt like any hair was being pulled; a feeling that I was ever so familiar with on my old trimmer. I had been missing out. Do your body a favor and get one of these ASAP!

This unit doesn't take much to charge out the box. The benefits, comes with a travel bag, the heads are easy to exchange and store away. Each head has grease on the inside to make them last. Operation of shaver is easy two buttons Power, and Turbo for fast shaves. The only drawback I can find is this can't charge and shave at the same time. Other than that very easy and light travel shaver.

It was difficult to write this review in the middle of MOVEMBER haha.That being said this one slick little shaver. It comes with every attachment you could ever need, and even with no guard I haven't nicked myself yet. The battery charges pretty quick and the overall design of the device it great. The absolute best feature of the shaver is that's it's waterproof and can be used in the shower. I think of all the features this was the most exciting. Great job Norelco!

This trimmer is a great travel companion. I shave with safety razors at my house and traveling with those and the shaving cream is a big pain. Having this shaver has made traveling much much easier. The battery lasts forever and it does a good job trimming my beard, as long as I don't let it get too long. The shaver comes with several quick swappable heads that twist on and off very easily. The trimmer comes with a standard beard shaver, two different size shears, a nose trimmer, and several size combs that clip on to the trimmer to trim hair at different lengths. All are pretty easy to use and are not hard to switch in and out. The battery life is pretty good too. I have charged it once in two weeks and shave about every other day and it is still charged. There is a turbo button that makes it trim fasy. I don't use it very often but, the battery life would probably be less if you plan to use it. Overall, this is a great travel razor and one that will be in my suitcase Everytime I go on a trip.

As a fellow that has a beard most of the year, this gadget is very handy! It charges quickly and easily maintains its charge throughout the "manscaping". The guide combs give you a pretty good selection of hair length. If you use it in the shower, remember to have a strainer in the drain or you will have a nasty clog! This has replaced my 7 year old corded trimmer!

I've had many trimmers throughout the years - typically I let my beard grow a bit then cut it back and repeat. One of the biggest complaints I've had about trimmers is that they weren't strong enough to cut through longer grown beards - tugging and having to go over areas multiple times. Due to the prolonged use, the battery then would typically die before I was finished and I was left in a mess! Not the case with this Norelco trimmer! I had quite the beard going and I couldn't wait to cut it back. The attachments that came in the package were incredibly useful and gave plenty of options for me to go. I first trimmed back using the hair clipper comb, and boom - it charged through my beard nicely and efficiently right from the first cut! It felt like it had the power of a full sized hair clipper. This power though with the precision of the trimmer came in handy by the harder to groom spots like mustache area. After I plowed through the bulk of the beard, I put the precision trimmer on and again was so happy with the results. I straightened the lines out and was able to do so with ease and comfort. I then attacked the nose hairs with the nose trimmer and it did a great job as it was easy to angle to get the targeted areas. I want to note that changing out the attachments from one to the other was very easy to do and I was able to quickly go from one to the other without delay or fumbling around. Between the power, precision, and ease of use I completely recommend this product to anyone looking for a new trimmer. I gladly threw out my fragile underwhelming trimmer from before and happily will use this one now!

The Good: Powerful trimmer cut easily, long battery life, quality feel, quality head attachments. The trimmer itself cuts very smooth and easy. The ear and nose trimmer work better than most stand alone trimmers of that nature. The close shave attachment also works better than most stand alone shavers. Very close and smooth shave. The Bad: The trimmer comb attachments are awful. They click on and move up and down the body of the trimmer to create separation from the trimmer head so there is a gap between the trimmer head and the comb. This means that if you angle the trimmer just right you will shave at zero length instead of the number length desired. This is not good. Overall, a very good quality multi purpose trimmer unless you like to trim at different lengths.

I really can't say enough about this trimmer. The battery life is great for it being a portable trimmer. It comes with many different sizes and options. It allows you to customize every attachment they have to the height you desire, allowing a lot of flexibility when sculpting your beard. The trimmer is very versatile, I would definitely recommend it to a friend and I would purchase it again if I lost it, its THAT good!

For as much as this trimmer does it's a really great price. Unfortunately it only does a couple of things very well. Otherwise the functions are okay, but not as good as I would want them to be (regardless of price). Pros: the number of attachments--this is an extremely versatile tool Charges quickly and easily The attachments are VERY easy to change--impressively so actually. And I was impressed with how secure they felt after changed them out. The nose trimmer works very well Cons: The shaver doesn't shave very closely at all. I felt like I was rubbing my face off and there were still large patches that were missed. I've never really used an electric shaver before so this could be on me, but I'm not really sure how.... The trimmer didn't seem to trim very evenly. It's very noisy for a device like this Overall this is a very versatile tool, unfortunately it doesn't do a great job for many of the tasks it's designed for.
