Customers are saying

Customers consistently note the Multigroom Series 7400's excellent battery life and ease of use, along with its waterproof design and useful attachments. Many appreciate its power and water resistance, finding it convenient for showering. However, some users found the trimming performance inconsistent and the body shaver less effective than expected for a close shave.

Just when I thought I have a good system going I get this.. Well this little gem is powerful enough to put all my other shavers/trimmers to shame. I charged it overnight and in the morning did the beard, neck, head, and shaved all in about 20 mins. This cuts to precisely that I was done long before my other product could do it. Smooth and quick. The guide were great for getting that few day stubble on the face and the body groomer setup was fast and easy. I love this and the fact it come with a carrying case is a bonus. Good Job guys on making a system that lets us gents ( and ladies if used ) get done with the pruning sooner and on our way.

Comfortable to use, functional attachments, good battery life. Only wish it came with a charging station that also held the attachments.

Having owned a similar one, I was very pleased to get this groomer. While i can go on and on about this, the things that stand out the most are the fact that it can be used in both wet or dry settings. The attachments are easily interchangeable or attachable and they work excellently. this also had a nose/ear hair trimmer, which i didnt realize prior to getting it. all in all, as i cant think of one bad thing to say about this item, i will say that i Highly recommend this.

A good body trimmer. I don't have very thick hair and this trimmer has enough power to do what I needed, though I needed to do multiple passes. The provided attachments are enough to get the job done, but the body shaver and detailed trimmer couldn't do a totally clean shave and you're better off using a razor. I really like that the guard can do various lengths down to the mm, but you would most likely use low or medium. It does say that it's shower proof, but I would avoid using this in the shower as you can't use this with wet hair. Overall I like it and would keep on using from now on.

I've been doing the "No Shave November" for Prostate Cancer awareness. While I have not let my beard grow wild I have used this little trimmer to keep everything nice and neat. It's a great tool for get into tight spots. The attachments are very functional and do their job great. Honestly this is the first time I have grown a beard because I was afraid of the maintenance. The Philips Norelco Trimmer has put those fears aside. I'll probably keep the bear now that I have this trimmer. A big plus, I'm getting compliments from my wife and friends. They like my salt and pepper beard

If you're looking for one trimmer to take care of all of your needs then this may be for you. I don't think it does any one thing great, but it does a lot of things okay. It charged up relatively quickly and that charge lasts long enough to get things done. All the attachments included are a nice touch, though it's just more stuff to have to carry with you when you travel. I'm not sure if I'll need the wet/dry feature of this, but my wife may want to give it a spin for her legs.

I like this trimmer. It's very powerful and was good at trimming up the delicate areas. This is also why I gave this trimmer 4 stars because I did end up with a few cuts. It does a nice job trimming up my mustache and hair line. I used it both dry and in the shower. This is definitely my go to trimmer now and I will be laying my old trusty one to rest now. All in all it's a pretty good trimmer and with the turbo button it zips through even the rough stuff.

We have an older Phillips Multi-groom from 8 years ago and recently traded up to this new model from Best Buy. I would say this thing is nicely built, feels solid, and a great trimmer. The blades are very sharp, so doing larger beards it is a breeze. The additional attachment heads allows you to trim pretty much any part of your body. Just be careful as the new model is much faster and more efficient, and with the sharper blades, go slow on your beard or moustache so you don't accidentally take too much off. Awesome trimmer!!!

The Philips Norelco - Multigroom Series 7400 Wet/dry Trimmer is definitely a full-featured trimmer. I was a bit overwhelmed with the various trimming heads and guides until I took a couple of moments to scan the included information. Once I began using it, I was immediately impressed with the range of uses which I've already found helpful. It feels solid, powerful and cuts very well. I haven't had it long enough to give a sense of it's endurance, but I can't see any reason for it not serving me well for years to come.

These trimmers work well and there is a good amount of adjustment for the guards. However the open trimmer guards don't cut evenly-make sure to use the closed front guard Several useful attachments - regular clippers, nose trimmer, fine trimmer, body shaver, 3 guards (2 open 1 closed-use that one) Rechargeable for up to 1 hour use (I haven't tested the full time yet) Comes with a good size case for trimmers and attachments

This Is The Best Trimmer I Ever Used

This has officially replaced my current trimmer. I like how each comb serves a purpose and there is not too many of them. Also, the bag that comes with this is perfect for storage and for travel. The only thing that could have been better is the weight of the trimmer, it was a little too light for my taste. I guess the weight is just my personal preference. Also each comb is adjustable so it is going to take trial and error of multiple uses before you get your settings just right.

    Awful

This product is awful. Does it trim/cut? Absolutely. That isn't the issue. The issue is how it gets the job done. I've had a mustache all my adult life so I've had various trimmers. From time to time I grow a beard. I trim my eyebrows once a month or so because they start to look like Andy Rooney's. I also trim my nose hair, ears and sideburns. As you age all that stuff just grows like a jungle. Let's start with the fact that it has no less than 7 attachments! I guess that's the problem with trying to be an all in one solution. The attachments are: A normal trimmer (which I used for my sideburns) A detail trimmer (which I used for my mustache over my lip) A stubble comb (which I used for my mustache and eyebrows) A Hair comb (used to cut your hair) A Body comb (used to trim anything below your neck) A Bodygroom shaver (which is like a normal foil shaver except you can't use it on your face) A Nose trimmer I started with my mustache and that's where the first problem comes in. Which adapter to install? They have 3 large adapters that all look similar. They have a tiny little picture on the adapter that indicates what it's used for. First of all you have to be in the right light to see it. The second issue is problematic of virtually everything, the drawings and marking are teeny tiny and without my reading glasses on I can't tell what's what. So I finally get the right adapter on and we come back to the second issue. The adjustment as to how thick you want to leave your hair is controlled by moving the adapater up and down a shaft. Getting the exact depth is difficult because it's not smooth and compounded by the fact that the depth markings are microscopic. I could barely tell if I was on setting 5 or 6. Now keep in mind that you will have to remember your setting in a few weeks when you go to do this again. There are 12 microscopic settings! Most of my other trimmers use a simple dial. You can literally get the right setting in the dark. The next issue comes in trying to get the adjustment to the right height. Since it uses a latch system, you really have to grip the shaver and what kept happening is that there was little option but to have your finger trigger the ON button while doing the adjustment. Moving on, now it's time to cut. Because the actual cutting blade is not covered, it's very easy to get the wrong cut because you had the shaver at an incorrect angle. My other shavers never exposed a blade so you could never have this happen. And finally, to finish with the mustache there is the cleanup on the shaver. Hair was tucked in every nook and cranny. It was horrible. OK, time to now trim the bottom of my mustache. Remove the adapter, remove the cutting blade and now put on a second, different cutting blade, the detail trimmer. The problem is, there are no markings on the blade so trying to get it inserted and twisted on took some trial and error. That lead to another persistent issue. Grease. They use white grease on the trimmer spindle, white grease inside the trimmer, white grease on the blade. It was everywhere. Got the mustache trimmed, how about the nose hairs? Had to detach the detail trimmer and attach the nose trimmer. It was confusing as heck to use. I saw that the blade was only on a single side and you had to stick the darn thing fairly far up your nose to get the blade where it could cut. Once in the right place it did a good job but it would require a little practice. My dedicated nose trimmer works much better and easier. Using the nose adapter I tried the outside of my ears. No problem there because it's a flat surface. I wasn't about to actually do the inside of my ear though. This wouldn't have been pretty. Now, on to the eyebrows. Detach the nose trimmer, put on the Full Size trimmer, put on the stubble comb. First eyebrow, one swipe and it was near perfect. Cool. The second eyebrow, whoops, had a bad angle and now I have 1/2 an eyebrow. LOL. Ya, good thing I don't have a meeting for another week and hair grows back. Bottom line. I have 6 things to store in their bag, have to constantly switch out adapters to do the same job and it's messy. Look elsewhere.

I received this to give my unbiased review. First it fits nicely in my hand. I found that the gauge numbers were a bit small and blurred for my "senior" vision. The on/off button is a bit awkward to access. Overall I like the trimmer. It worked well on shaping and trimming my beard. It feels like a well made trimmer. I would recommend this to the person who wants a well maintained beard!

This multigroom trimmer does an adequate job. The Philips - Norelco brand is a known and trusted name for grooming products. Quick charging time, along with being able to use the item either wet or dry is a plus, and the eight attachments provide a good variety of choices depending on what your grooming needs are.

I never knew I needed a trimmer with so many attachments! My personal favorite is the bodygroom shaver. It's perfect for leaving that little bit of stubble on your face. The precision trimmer is great for trimming back the hair around your ear and shaping your sideburns. The body trimming comb is the real reason you need this trimmer. It keeps you from accidentally cutting your self in those REALLY sensitive areas. I'm really impressed with this product.

The trimmer was packaged well and the faux leather pouch is appreciated. The trimmer charged fully very quickly. This is a nice looking trimmer with a good feel in the hand. There are numerous attachments. First test, trim sideburns. I chose a comb attachment and figured out how to get it on the trimmer and adjusted it for the longest trim possible. On first try, I evidently had a bad angle and due to the space between the trimmer and comb, I shaved the hair completely off! It was as if the comb wasn't even there. I then had to shave off the other to balance it, but that was not what I wanted. I wanted it trimmed, not shaved off! I'm a bit scared to use this tool now, so I'm just going to set it in the back of the cabinet and perhaps try it again another day!

This is a great trimmer set. I use it to trim the edges of my beard. Not having to deal with chords and a plug outlet comes in handy as well. The feature I like the most is the nose and ear trimmer accessories. I was trying to use hair scissors to trim the hair in my nose and ears. This trimmer makes it so much easer, and safer. The interchangeable attachments are easy to swap out for various uses.

I like to keep a neatly trimmed beard in the winter, so using this was really fun. The trimmer attachments are precise and work well. The nose hair (and ear hair for us older folks…) attachment is the best I’ve ever used. I haven’t tried the hair trimming attachments much but they look equally well made. I especially like that the entire device is waterproof so you can use it in the shower!

Lots of room for improvement but OK. I wanted this for use to trim my sideburns and for my wife when she cuts the kids hair. It didn't do either well. This may work best for people with a beard. Pros: - Water proof : must have now a days. - lithium battery: some trimmers still use NiMH that just doesn't last and has memory. This last a long time on one charge. - Interchangeable heads - Trimmer heads (2 sizes) are very sharp. Cons: - No protective cover for the attachments so they can get damage. - The trimmers doesn't cut close enough for sideburns. - Nose hair trimmer is too fine to cut my nose hair and only works with very fine hair. - Some attachment maybe hard to change out when wet due to size and material.
