This is an excellent movie. The presentation of Hercule Poirot is quite different from other Agatha Christie films. I think it is actually the best I have seen. I deducted one star because there was no digital code in the case - in fact, upon reading the back of the case, I found that it stated any digital code may not even be valid after 2020.

For the price, it is not bad and well, it is a good Saturday afternoon movie. I would have liked a bit more extras, gag reel, but, I am satisfied. J. D., as always, delivers well.

To be honest, I think of David Suchet when I think of Hercule Poirot. Kenneth Branagh directs and stars as the great detective. It seems like he pretty much ripped off Suchet, in my opinion. I would have liked to have seen him take a few more risks, but it’s still a very good performance. The movie works. The cast, the production, everything is great. It’s a product of it’s source material which is a product of its time. As such, there’s not a lot of action in the modern Hollywood sense but for fans of old school mystery stories and movies I highly recommend it.

This is a pretty decent mystery story, with an interesting ending, however, we found it a bit on the boring side. It is the fourth remake of this film, based on the book of the same name. Great actors and performances, but, again, a bit on the boring side. If you've seen any of the previous films, you will find that there really isn't anything new in this one.

I was hoping for a great mystery movie. I was somewhat disappointed. The acting was great but I think the way it was written, it didn't bring out the actor's full potential.

While this release features a solid picture with great detail, it is the Dolby Atmos mix that really shines on this UHD, Wide sound field with effective use of heights. The one disc played and the blue ray disc skips in my blu ray player that I purchased from Best Buy. I cleaned the machine with the Insignia cleaner and had the same results.

I think that "Murder On The Orient Express" was an amazing, original and exciting classic film and it was also one of the greatest classic films of all-time and it was also one of my favorite classic films of all-time. I first saw this film in theaters and I enjoyed it immediately and I also think that "Murder On The Orient Express" had a lot of exciting, entertaining and enjoyable action, drama, mystery and suspense including an amazing cast and exciting and suspenseful personal storylines.

Good film adaptation of one of the most famous detective characters, Hercule Poirot! Portrayed by the film's director Kenneth Branagh, Poirot finds himself in the middle of a murder mystery, one which like a good whodunnit mystery will keep you intrigued and guessing as to who is the killer. Good ensemble cast, great blu-ray format, happy with my purchase!

Seems like the same exact movie with nothing new to offer from the original. While the original was good and all, I didn’t think this movie added anything. Meh.

I've loved Agatha Christie and similar mystery novels for as long as I can remember. This movie adaptation is enjoyable, lovely to look at, not exciting but relaxing [in a good way] . Kenneth Branagh is not my favorite Poirot - hard to get David Suchet's Poirot out of my mind, but it was fun to see all the characters brought to life in this lovely setting. Enjoyed it very much.

My wife and I saw this in theaters when it was first released and decided that it was worthy of being in our collection. This is our first foray into 4K movies and a winner it is! While the soundtrack is ever so slightly less than the best, the cinematography and special effects are really first rate. As to the story, how can you screw up a classic? Well, you can't and this version certainly doesn't. So by all means, buy it and enjoy it again. By any measure, this is a really worthy addition to any collection.

The film is beautiful! Great cast; the story is a bit weak but the acting and the scenery makes up for it..especially on 4K.

Great mystery movie, as expected it has a lot of twist and turns but overall I think it’s good for helping you fall asleep.

Being a devoted fan of David Suchet's characterization of Poirot, I was skeptical that anyone could pull off an equally convincing Poirot, but Kenneth Branagh does a great job. His Poirot is decidedly different than Suchet's but still true to the character in a fresh and believable way. Plus the all star supporting cast and great cinematography combine to make this a very enjoyable rendition of this oft portrayed story. If you're an Agatha Christie fan, by all means pick up this movie.

I read the novel of the said title of the movie (MOE) both were spectacular The author Agatha Christie was a master of suspense; while the director Kenneth Branagh was brilliant in directing this well crafted mystery A well balanced star studded cast made the movie even more interesting and receptive Kudos to cast and crew

This was a fun movie if you like Poirot and Agatha Christie. Big names in this cast and it takes quite a few twists and turns.

I love Agatha Christie stories and this is one of my favorites. I am a huge fan of the original picture and was a little cautious approaching this version. Great cast and great direction make this quite a compelling film well worth your time. If you love a good mystery then you are in for a treat. This story will keep you guessing and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep you entertained til the end. Do yourself a favor and pick this up today. You won't regret it.

I was looking for something to entertain the kids but this isn't it. Kind of boring and not very visually stimulating.

Whodunit's are not usually what I pay for at movies. Usually I'll wait for them to come out on TV. Well me and my girlfriend where enjoying and evening out and just decided to give this movie a shot, not really expecting anything just enjoying our time together. The movie turns out to be awesome from start to finish. I liked it so much that I bought on 4K bluray to watch again. Even my 9 and 11 year old couldn't move when the saw it. It's a great movie, go see it.
