I bought the membership two years ago. I was reluctant to set up auto renew. Today, I noticed that it auto-renewed a couple of weeks ago for the upcoming year. I went online and reviewed my savings from the membership, which was about $102 over the past two years. That covered the membership fee. Now, my purchases are becoming fewer and fewer. I decided to cancel the membership. As expected, Best Buy believes that they "earned" the remainder of this year's membership fee. They would not refund the amount that they debited from my account in advance. They were happy to cancel the membership, but a refund was not possible. The end result is that I paid $49.99 for $0 savings this year. Not setting foot in Best Buy in the future and not recommending their membership. The savings are minimal and the no refund policy, when combined with auto renew, is a bad business practice.

Generally a good cover on items bought from bestbuy for 60 days.

Honestly, I’ve already saved $100 with the membership from deals on select video games. I was going to buy them either way, so I was happy that they had a buy 2 get 1 free deal for plus members. Very much worth the $50 price tag if you’ll be buying a lot of things in the next year.

This is one the easiest memberships I have signed up for. Yearly renewal fee is so small and it comes with awesome benefits and deals. You should definitely utilize this is you’re big into electronics. I know I’ll be using my perks for some new kitchen appliances.

many items at best buy are not always the best prices for the same item elsewhere, but the membership may pay off.

The Bestbuy store in Hickory has been great for me and my family. The people I deal with understand my needs and advises me on making the best choice suited for those needs. Using my Bestbuy Card with no interest payments is wonderful. Having a Membership is a no brainer.

Once I realized how much stuff I was buying from best buy this was a no brainer. You get free shipping and they give you deals on top of the already good pricing.

Not really sure if my "member prices" are better than the special sales prices I used to get when I wasn't a member. Plus the gift vouchers you get for making large purchases have a very short expiration date, so you end up having to buy quickly or lose them.
