So why am i receiving messages like i signed up for a membership. BTW the price never went down and i guess im never receiving a rebate...

The membership allowed me to save on a purchase, but I had explicitly asked whether it was a commitment and whether it had a default auto-renewal schedule. I was told that it did not auto-renew, which it does. I was left feeling misled and disappointed. I have set a calendar reminder to cancel prior to the auto-renewal date.
