The membership promised if any product i purchased was advertised at a lower price I would be able to obtain the difference. I purchased a TV. It was advertised at a lower price three weeks later and I received the difference on my card.

This membership really came in handy when I had a Best Buy first-ever problem with a relatively new iPad. The Geek Squad was able to help me get a replacement past the exchange day. And I have used Geek Squad help several times and they are unfailingly polite and helpful!

Worth it , it's pretty cheap and they basically refund the money by giving extra discounts, if not that $50 gets refunded back automatically at the end of the Year.
