Tried this service after a pushy Best Buy employee recommended it. I have gotten very little use out of it, as I prefer to shop elsewhere, Best Buy no longer offers the best product selection, and only competes on price when they are forced to through price match, but selectively chooses what to price match. Only certain stores can be price matched, and they refuse to price match if a sale is going on, which seems like the entire point of pricing matching. Best Buy has no loyalty to customers and will gladly lose your business to keep products sitting on the shelf. I will gladly shop at a competitor who’s offering a genuine sale, and won’t be pushed to buy additional services or warranties by their employees. The only true benefit is price protection for items that go on sale after purchase, but this would only benefit someone who shops Best Buy regularly, and if that’s the case you probably don’t care about price.

I was skeptical at first but I think it is totally worth it if you shop at least 3-4 times a year at Best Buy. I just purchased a lawn mower at a great price for plus members only that itself paid off for the next 3 years memberships.

Our salesman told us about the membership when we were buying appliances for our new house. It saved us a ton of money, so we were really happy.
