    I had orginaly renewed my Total Tech to use it for tv installation and a few others such as appliance installs as well. Now I see Total is built souly for customers that need help with Computers for all in store Geek Sqaud services are covered under Best buy total. Now i think for most people it may be for the protection plans but ive been told countless times its the same protection As Geek Sqaud Protection (another protection plan Best Buy offers) even though they dont cover the same things in reality I don’t see the true value for “All” best buy customers with this new memebership.

    Not worthy I pay a year and never used and the only time I wanted to use it they couldn’t install the item I bought also had to make an appointment and it took over three weeks to get the appointment … I had to ask my cousin and he install it

    Scheduled appointments in home are unreliable. The schedule time is often changed with scheduling far in the future. Even a scheduled in store appointment involves a long wait. They are understaffed. They don't repair anything in store. Everything is sent to a service center taking several weeks for repair and return. If coverd by warranty, they just send it to the seller, which one cand do yourself and save the time of setting and appointment, etc. The service is not worth the expense.

    I kind of got grandfathered into the previous best buy plan for one more year (the one that cost $20 more but includes free installation). That was a really great deal, and it drove me to buy everything at Best Buy due to the installation savings. I don't have any Apple products and I am an engineer so I really don't need tech support for much, so the new plan will not be worth it for me as the main draws are tech support and apple protection. I will drop this after this year is over (and I probably will not buy nearly as much at Best Buy).

    The new plan dropped the very things we valued mist: free delivery, free set up, service calls etc. Whoever designed the new plan, really doesn't understand what customers value most. I cancelled my Total Tech and I understand others have as well. A bit of advice? Dump your new CEO. And hire someone who understands your customer base. Not another BUD Light hiree!

    I think yearly subscription is over priced for what you receive. If you buy a large appliance you do get extended 2 year protection, but otherwise I do not see where you save that much to warrant this purchase.
