    I had the old totaltech membership and it was way better with free delivery and installation of appliances.

    You get stuck renewing each year because of protection plans on devices. Id rather purchase protection plans outright.

    Less than I expected knowledge of came cubes, can’t get answers on how to copy music files from ps3 to ps5

    I’ve had some issues with damaged items and I’ve been transferred back and forth between support agents saying they each “don’t have the option” and “this other department should be able to help.” Besides that the discounts can be ok at times and I haven’t had to use the protection plan yet. They’ll always thank you for being a valued member though and apologize for not being able to help.

    It's good for the 1st year if you make a big purchase auch as a TV. After that, it isn't worth the expense to keep.

    It’s good but heard that the items purchased from Bestbuy won’t cover , have to pay % to them for any service

    when it comes time for defective products they fight you and deny repairs and make you wait a long time just to get denied any help, they switched the tech who were great and were helping me and the next the guy was a jerk. I do not recommend it unless you need to have items installed like big screen tv's .

    I have had 1 good experience using my TotalTech membership, represented by 1 star. I have had a number of run arounds, one in particular, it took me about 6 months to be refunded for a charger I had to buy, as TotalTech sent me the wrong one 3 times in a row, despite crystal clear communication from myself and 3 separate local employees sending in the request and descriptions. I will be looking to cycle out my products from Best Buy in the near future. I do not plan to buy this service again. My one star rating across the board is for the service, not the in store employees at the store I go to. However, their quality has also been dropping as I was sales pressured into applying for a credit card for this purchase, after telling the employee why I didn't think I would qualify, and they "promised" me I would be. I wasn't and took a credit score hit.

    since the total protection has now changed the cost benefit to renewing the next period becomes pretty much not happening. they will now be charging for installation of all items purchased and that cost makes the attractiveness of the protection plan less expecially with only two covered calls for the entire period ensuing

    The service on paper is fine, if you have multiple items it would cover and buy a bunch of tech year round, because it offers exclusives for new tech. However, the warranty side of things is terrible. It only provides at most 2 years of protection on your purchases and you cannot renew it to extend past 2 years. You're paying $200 a year for one year of protection, then in order to get a second year worth of protection you have to pay another $200! So, you're paying $400 for 2 years worth of warranty, it's a complete sham and rip-off. I bought a PS5 through one of their tech deals exclusive to Total Tech, and now it'll run out of warranty in a few months, because I can't renew coverage, you cannot get a separate Geeksquad warranty with Total tech, and the Geeksquad warranties last much longer and are much cheaper and do the same thing as Total Tech when it comes to protection.

    Not really worth the value considering best buy keeps removing more and more of their customer incentives. Buy it ONLY if you want the free installs or total tech coverage, NOT for discounts, the discounts are all just regular rotating sale prices everyone gets access too.

    Not clear what benefits come with a "My Best Buy Total" membership. Certainly did not see any benefit upon making a big screen TV and sound bar purchase from Best Buy the very next day.
