Overpriced

If this was half the price Best Buy would multiply the sell of this service to the n’d degree. It worth it when buying multiple large appliances.

Bad experience!

It was great at the time because it gave a huuuuuge discount on motorcycle installation! Got my bike hooked all and all was well.... Then my speakers went out.... Fine, I'll get knew ones.... Come to find out Best Buy does not tune the amps to the speakers like higher end audio places.... Then a year later, the huge deal I got was not a deal anymore because they went up on the percentages you had to pay depending on what would be installed..... Not good.... But I'm still holding on cause it also gives warranties to other appliances I purchased without purchasing one.... Here's the kicker.... If you have a Harley YOU ALWAYS want to upgrade! I go to Evanston location..... Sign says WE NO LONGER DO INSTALLATION HERE! Ok, cool, the only gut I ACTUALLY TRUST to work on my bike moved to Skokie, so I'm cool! THE ONLY PERSON I TRUST TO TOUCH MY HARLEY! So, I'm good for another riding season........ Push forward to today..... I call the ONLY GUY I TRUST to work on my bike number to set up an appointment... He doesn't answer, ok, I'll roll up there cause that's how I got him last time.... THIS INSTALLATION LOCATION IS CLOSED!!! You know what! Cancel that Total Membership crap! Sorry!

My BEST BUY Subscription

No longer is in-home repair included you are now just giving a discount. I'm not happy with the change.

Waste of money.

I had purchased a very expensive dishwasher, 6 months after purchasing the racks started rusting and broke. IAG (Best Buy insurance company) sent someone out, they looked at it and agreed that it needed to be replaced. IAG refused and said its "COSMETIC" therefore not covered. I am using zipties to hold part of the rack together.

Ruined

Over the last 3 years they have changed it so much and it's lost its value. But now, without it the return window is only 2 weeks when other stores have 30 day policies that are standard. Not only will i not buy this plan anymore (after doing so for 6+ years) I will no longer shop at bestbuy. They really ruined it.

Waste of money

The only thing I actually got that was beneficial was the free delivery. During Covid it was almost worthless. I have products(Google nest) I have never used because I could not speak with anyone to help. I brought an apple laptop in that the techs would not touch due to some rule of not being able to open the back of apple products.

Why buy a plan to cover in-home visits when still charged a fee. Decided it wasn't worth the money as I'd rather pay the in-home visit charge than pay for a plan that I only get a 20% discount on the visit.

Total waste of time and money

I and my family have been loyal Best Buy customers for decades. Everything in our home was purchased from Best Buy. No hassle, no haggle, we just went to Best Buy like lemmings. All Best Buy had to do was take our money and not suck. Well, failing to provide complete and lasting results, forcing me to babysit and follow up to schedule an appointment and waiting weeks to months for a half-baked result only to start the process all over again, then becoming argumentative and passing the blame to others and making it all my problem to solve is a great run-on example of SUCKING. The "service" I received from Best Buy during one month has ceased all loyalty I feel for this company. We will find solutions elsewhere.
