    Beware PS5 Broke After Three Weeks.

    I purchased I ps5 off the Best Buy online three weeks ago. The system has already broken preventing me from loading up any game. It crashes every time I try to play a game on it. I took it into bed buy today and the two associates at the customer desk were rude and arguing with each other on who was gonna help me because they said it was sold through third party on the Best Buy website and there was nothing they could do. And they I guess didn’t want to even help me because they said I was gonna yell at them like everyone else. I never raised my tone or anything just trying peacefully to look for a solution considering I spent over $600 on a system that broke in three weeks of owning it. I will not be returning back to best buy after this. Unprofessional workers and waste of money products they sell! I barely used the ps5 it was in excellent condition in the box with all items including the fortnite code that came with it used.

    I purchased an 83” LG OLED on December 24, 2025. It was scheduled for delivery on January 5, 2026. At 1 o’clock in the afternoon I get a call saying the TV is not in stock and is in transit. They tell me it will be delivered on January 7, 2026. 2 o’clock in the afternoon on January 7. I called Best Buy. They said that they had no idea about the delivery. So I go to the store that I purchased my TV and sound bar from and they said that the sound bar is now in transit, I said fine, Just give me a refund. They said we can’t do that here you have to call the one 800 number so after calling the one 800 number and canceling my order I am in just disbelief at the lack of communication between scheduling Best Buy and the installation team. Not sure if I’ll ever do business with Best Buy again. My purchase was over $7000. Best Buy, you need to get your act together

    Refund request for erroneous charge to a repair

    Last year I purchased a computer for my son and we added the insurance. I was told by the agent the help me and the manager reconfired that the insurance covered any damage for 2 years including accidental. During the snow storm my son slipped on the ice with his computer in his backup. Due to the fall the screen somhow started to bubble as side of computer chipped as well. When he got to the geek squad he was charged $84 and was told that the fee was shipping charges. When I learned about this I contacted best buy and I was told there were not such fees as shipping. They created a ticket and I was told my issue was escalated and my account was going to be review for a refund. That was on February 25, 2026 with Eduardo. As of today, March 13th I have not gotten an updated, so I contacted your support again. I spoke to Kelly who transferred me to Nandhini. She told me a different store that I need to go to the store in person to fight for a refund. She also confirmed that there is no such fee for shipping. I asked for a supervisor and she would not connect me with one. She said that a supervisor was not going to be able to assist me as she had the same access he had.

    We shop exclusively at Best Buy for our electronics ~ can't imagine anyone else having the same knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, informative representatives anywhere! What we like most is that they actually answer your question and they don't pressure you to purchase the most expensive option available. (And having your receipts on file in your account in their computer is AMAZING!!!! Doesn't matter if we've lost the receipt or not ~ exchanges are simple!!!) Love, love, LOVE Best Buy!!!

    Geek Squad In Store

    I was recently scammed by someone posing as a geek squad supervisor...it took me 7 hours before I finally disconnected the call and had to bring my PC into Best Buy so they could try to retrieve all my data that the scammers locked me out of...the in store staff did a great job. I can't say the same for the online geek squad. It was because of 5 days of them being in my PC in the first place that caused me to ask for a supervisor to call me. The call came at the exact time and date I requested which is why it took me so long to ultimately realize I was being scammed.

    Oh my goodness! I LOVEEEE my new MacBook Air! This is my first Mac purchase, and it is great quality! Mac runs on it's own type of system, which is easy to pick up on. There are tons of online tutorials for various tasks, and the support from the Apple community is phenomenal. Looking into investing in a Mac? You won't be disappointed! It takes a while to learn the gestures, but once you do, there's no going back to a PC--unless of course you are like me and have to use one at work. You will notice a huge difference between the two systems, and Mac is where it's at!

    I bought a brand-new laptop from Best Buy. I also have the Geek Squad protective services plan. About 3 months after getting my new computer, the Outlook icon stopped working at all. I was not able to fix it with with basic trouble-shooting, so I went online and used the Geek Squad remote services. The agent that remoted in was supposed to be qualified, according tonNeat Buy. He ended uninstalling software that was not even involved and then messed up the repair to the point that the computer was not even functional. Had to then call the 1-800 number and schedule an in-store drop-off. Because I was dropping it off between my full time job and my part-time job, I did not have but about an hour of time. When I got to the store, the line was backed up down the aisle, and NONE of the appointments that were scheduled were even being recognized. I don’t know what’s happened to Best Buy, but I will NEVER purchase anything there again.

    Renewed my extended warranty!

    I renewed my extended warranty for my Olympus TG-3. It’s a rugged camera and takes fabulous pictures. I bought the warranty just in case the lid malfunctions and water seeps into the camera. It shouldn’t but I read reviews that if the lid is not cleaned properly water might get into it. So bam I got the added warranty. Great deal because it’s still cheap if you renew it 3 times. Now look up the reviews for the Olympus TG-3 or TG-4 which I also bought from B.B. and get the camera and get that extended warranty. Best...!

    After buying an " I've got power " computer for 1300.00 from Best Buy problem started. After several months of use a fan went bad. Looked up purchase receipt and saw i had 1 year warranty parts and labor so i took it back to store for repair. Service rep said that is manufacture warranty, nowhere does it say manufacture on my receipt but after several min explaini g that to the rep i gave up and tried different approached . Told her i would pay out of pocket, then she said " can't work on that brand " . So i says you can sell them but you can't fix them ? I was then Informed if i had paid in cash they could fix it but since i used CC can't work on it. So now I'm stuck with an expensive broke down computer that the seller won't deal with. Same old song " we got your money so who cares anymore " Avoid BB at all costs.

    I am a total tech and i purchased a TV and soundbar 2 years ago. I had a two year protection I tried to extend the protection for both items but i was told that there is nothing that can be done, i have called , went to the store, showed them my paperwork showing the date of purchase Best buy needs to work on customer service much better, the manager at the store in West Melbourne, said i am clocked out i cant help you. The other member kept saying i can call the number for you about 6 x I spend 193.00 a year to get continued coverage, and pay extra to keep things covered. I just got blown off, what a way to treat people

    Bought my daughter a phone for Christmas gift. Only had 2 months and now it will not boot up, no damage to the phone. Used geek squad online chat they told me to go to the store. Took to the store told me I had to file a claim online. Followed instructions and don’t see claim option. Call support they are telling the same thing from attempts 1 and 2. Told them there is not a claim option online, they try to walk me through and same result that I’m getting claim still not filed. Now I’m awaiting a call from a manager at the local store.

    Late delivery ruined christmas

    This is written with extreme disappointment. I purchased a tv on November 28th I scheduled the delivery for dec 22nd. That’s almost an entire month. The entire day I kept seeing it was meant to deliver from 9:30am-1:30 pm. Turns out my delivery was cancelled and I now have to reschedule. Be aware there was nothing done wrong on my part. Now the only available delivery dates are after Christmas. This is so disheartening and sad. I feel as though there should be some type of compensation. The one day of the year you get gifts for all your family and friends and now one of mine won’t receive until after. It feels ruined now.

    I am a current Mac user. My son is transitioning to highschool and his grandparents wanted to know what they should purchase. Of course, we selected the Mac Pro because it will stand the test of time and move with him to college. He absolutely loves his Mac and I am a little envious that he has a newer model. He will be using his Mac for class, research, and projects to enhance his coding knowledge. Once you go Mac you will never go BACK!!!

    The iPhone 6s Plus is awesome. I was worried about the difference in size since I upgraded from the iPhone 5, but now when I try to use my wife's smaller phone I don't know how I ever used it. Aside from the size difference the fingerprint unlock is great and the 3D Touch, though I don't often use it...is pretty cool. Can't wait to upgrade to my 7 Plus soon!! Apple is the best for a reason..oh yeah...and it doesn't self destruct...

    Been a Best Buy shopper for over 35 years, I should own a store by now. I've tried buying from other places and there black tie possibly is a little more but it's so worth it, and there deals make up for the bit higher priced extended ins. Also I've never had any extended insurance on something that could compare to there's. Plus they keep receipts for you so you don't need to. All products all the time are great there.

    Great replacement for my old IPad

    The other day I dropped my old Apple IPad that I've had for four years. The personnel at Best Buy were awesome and answered all my questions and concerns. The set up on my new IPad was so much easier then I expected. I was even given backup instructions on my old IPad and how to download the old setup on my new IPad . This whole process was super simple. I was also offered AppleCare on this .

    Samsung charging mount for new I phone 8

    My salesman was very helpful in choosing the free standing charging base for my new I-Phone saving me money and allowing me to get the quick charge charger rather than the regular one with a savings Samsung Quickcharge vs the Apple charger, Apple didn't offer the quick charge mount; the system is same and works for both systems per salesman, have not had any issues works great!!!
