The Best Buy Gift Card showed up, folded and creased in the middle. Because of the short time I had left before Christmas. I decided to apologize to my niece and give it to her anyway. Fortunately she could still use it but I was disappointed at how damaged it was upon delivery.

I am being asked to review a payment for my total tech deductible. Because your system will not allow me to use a chase Visa card I had to go into the store to pay the deductible. I have had to do this several times. This time they had to refund the charge because the call center did not like how it was done. I am trying to get coverage for my fridge that I am paying for. A manager at the store was supposed to have one of the local techs contact me to get things going but still nothing. Your system has no problem charging me for the annual fee and the monthly plan that I have so why will it not accept the exact same card for the deductible? You are making it incredibly difficult to do business with Best Buy. I have been a loyal customer for 20 years or so. Are you trying to push customers to online platforms or other stores? I like the store and employees at my local store. Dealing with a call center to get the service that I am paying for filled with employees who do not care if things get handled is the breaking point. When I was a Best Buy employee we were expected to be knowledgeable and do whatever it took to take care of our customers. Why has this been lost? Get it together!

I bought a brand-new laptop from Best Buy. I also have the Geek Squad protective services plan. About 3 months after getting my new computer, the Outlook icon stopped working at all. I was not able to fix it with with basic trouble-shooting, so I went online and used the Geek Squad remote services. The agent that remoted in was supposed to be qualified, according tonNeat Buy. He ended uninstalling software that was not even involved and then messed up the repair to the point that the computer was not even functional. Had to then call the 1-800 number and schedule an in-store drop-off. Because I was dropping it off between my full time job and my part-time job, I did not have but about an hour of time. When I got to the store, the line was backed up down the aisle, and NONE of the appointments that were scheduled were even being recognized. I don’t know what’s happened to Best Buy, but I will NEVER purchase anything there again.
