Joe Pesci and Marisa Tomei star as 2 amateur lawyers(who did not pass the bar) to defend their nephew and his friend from a murder rap. He learns court procedure as he goes and with the help of his observant and street smart girlfriend, takes on the establishment to prove his nephew's innocence. Lots of funny scenes and lots of "pre-planning" to pull off the stunt. well written, excellent acting(best performances for both Marisa Tomei and Joe Pesci). Excellent chemistry between them. Both are underrated actor/actress of this generation. Highly recommended. rating 4.5

Joe Pesci is perfect casting as the title character, a novice lawyer who is brought down to Alabama to defend his cousin and his pal (Ralph Macchio & Stuart Whitfield, respectively) when they are falsely accused of murder. Wonderfully complementing him are Marisa Tomei as his sarcastic sweetie, Lane Smith as the prosector he must lock horns with in the courtroom, and (in one of the all time great swan songs for any actor) Fred Gwynne as the judge, who makes no secret of his disapproval of Vinny's tactics. The resolution to the two boys' case may be a tad confusing, but you won't mind because you'll be busy laughing.

This movie is hilarious in its portrayal of (albeit stereotypical) north - south and city - country differences in America. Joe Pesci is Vinny, the quintessential New York Italian- American male, and Maria Tomei nearly steals the show as his female counterpart. They are cultural fish out of water in an Alabama deep south town as Pesci tries to defend his cousin in a murder trial in a case of mistaken identity. All the cast is outstanding and the comedy ranges from puns, to slapstick, to high irony. Enjoy!

This movie is hilarious. Two guys driving on the road minding there own business get accused of murder as the convenient store they just shopped in was robbed and the clerk was killed by 2 similar looking men driving almost the same looking car. Joe Pesci came all the way from New York to Alabama to help his cousin along with his Fiance Lisa to help save the day and they both experience what it's like to go from being in the city to coming to the Country. 5 star movie hands down. A+

Marisa Tomei and Joe Pesci are a winning couple. Filled with excellent laughs and emotion, this is a comedy classic. The video could be a little bit better quality, but it's an older film and it looks great anyway!

Tomei and Pesci are great in this comedy. The dialogue is what shines and becomes even better upon multiple viewings. Highly recommended comedy.

A must have. When a New York ambulance chaser that has never gone to trial defends his cousin in Alabama for murder, Vinny (Joe Peschi) learns how the good ol' boys do it. A laugh in every scene.

Joe is one of my favorite guys in comedys, even though he's annoying at the same time with his whole attitude gets annoying. But thats what makes it funny, right?

This is another good transfer onto blu-ray of a well-liked film. There could have been more extras.
