I think this is such a classic Miyazaki film. I have loved this movie since I was a kid! All ages will love to watch it! I would recommend to anyone who hasn't yet seen it! :)

I wish they would have kept the original voice overs. The fanning sister sound too much alike and they sound like their trying too hard. I remember the totoro on VHS as a child being a lot better. Visually the whole movie is beautiful but I can't get over how satsuki and mei sound. That's the only reason why I've given it 3 stars is because of the voice overs. Other then that it's what I remember when I first saw it back in the 90's.

I want to know what happened to the original cast... The Fanning's were not a great choice, they made the characters sound obnoxious. This just was not the Totoro that I remember when I was a kid. I understand that Fox had the original right to distribute, so why didn't Disney go with the original voice acting!? Thus i would recommend (if you can) find a used copy Fox produced.

I was disappointed in My Neighbor Totoro. After having seen and loved Castle in the Sky and Howl's Moving Castle, and reading the description of My Neighbor Totoro, I expected much more. Bought the movie, but will not keep it for my personal library.
