I grew up watching this move and many other of the Studio Ghibli movies. I was happy to see that this and many of the classics are now on bluray. I bought this for the kids to watch and enjoy like i did as a kid. So far they have watched it the last few days non stop.

We've seen several of Miyazaki's other movies, and this one is really no different in regards to charm and strangeness. We enjoyed it as much as our kids.

This movie is wonderful! Full of adventures in a new place. I definitely recommend this for anyone who is looking for a heartwarming family movie. My two girls and I love this movie and watch it on repeat!

My daughter told me about this, and she was the one who wanted to buy it. I'm glad she did. I've seen other films by this person (Ponyo, Howl's Moving Castle), and loved them all. This one is no different. It's fantastical and a great family movie time. Highly recommend it.

Super cute movie that the entire family loves. My baby loves the music, my 10 year old loves the characters, and my partner loves the lore. You won’t be disappointed!

Hayao Miyazaki's films may seem like they're for kids, but anyone can enjoy them. The story of "Totoro" is simple enough for children to enjoy, but has layers to it that adults can appreciate too. And Totoro is one of the most adorable characters to ever appear on film!

Hayao Miyazaki is a true master of animation. I highly recommend any of his movies, but Totoro is my favorite. My son fell in love with these movies as a kid and I started watching them with him and was amazed by how well they were done. His favorite is Spirited Away.

One viewing will easily demonstrate why Studio Ghibli is considered the "Disney of the East". The animation is lush, the themes are family friendly, the characters are iconic. The HD treatment only enhances what is already there. Highly, highly, recommended.

The new special editions of the Miyazaki films are just gorgeous. Love these films and finally got the chance to snag them all at a great price. Definitely recommended if you haven't been able to purchase any or all of the Ghibli titles yet.

I just picked this up because my family has been getting into Studio Ghibli films a lot recently. This one is one of the best, and the steel book is in excellent condition!

I was delighted to see how beautiful this story looked in blu ray. The tale held my 3 and 8 year old's attention until the end. The price was quite a bargain as they are selling this for almost 3x as much in the Disney Movie Club. I highly recommend this dvd.

Brings back great memories from my childhood. It has a slower start and may not be ideal for super young children or ones who like to get right into things, but it's a classic Ghibli film having viewers develop a close relationship with the characters.

You have to like this movie, because it's super good and full of fun and endearing characters, and you can watch it with your kids, and with your dads, and maybe even with your grandparents (that much is hard to say with certainty (it was a different time)).

An enchanting vision of Japan, masterful in execution and effortless in its wistfulness. The world is alive with wonder.

This movie has been my children's favorite for many years. We are happy to have it in DVD. It is a Japanese cartoon with well-know American actor voices. It touches on family values, fantasy and childhood imaginations.

There's a reason why this foreign Disney studio wins so many awards. My family instantly fell in love with Totoro and we've watched it so many times since then! Excellent voice acting, animation, score and story! Highly recommend for a family movie night!

This film is an anime classic. To be honest: I've never seen it. I still haven't. But it's well regarded enough that it's been on my 'to do' list. When I saw it at such a low price, I just had to pick it up. I look forward to checking this out!
