Just took a trip to Mexico and used it to charge my phone. It did the job but, it completely drained it. I will upgrade to the more expensive unit that, according to the reviews, lasts much longer.

This device charges very slow and is not useful when I'm in a hurry and I need to use my phone. This charger is way overpriced given how slow it charges. I'm very disappointed with this product. No, I don't recommend it. If someone had recommended this thing to me and I bought it. I would be angry. So, I will not do that to a potential buyer. This thing SUCKS!!!

Definitely came in handy because we were in the parks all day long and didn't want to try to find power outlets. Be sure to turn the power off after using or this external battery will drain fast.
