However, once I started charging my phone and realized it was taking FOREVER (phone status showed "fast wireless charging"), I quickly changed my mind.

This is about 50% efficiency loss with Qi as the iPhone XR has about a 2500 mah battery and this has 10,000 mah. I was hoping for 3 full charges from that battery pack but 2 full charges will work for now.

decent sized battery, but was defective
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The battery on this thing is HUGE, and it also has enough ports to charge multiple items, Unfortunately the unit I got had a faulty wireless charging pad. I returned it, and even had the lady behind the counter test it with her phone, which also did not charge that way. Had it worked, I might have kept it, so do not let my experience discourage you from buying. Just be sure to open the flap and place your phone on the pad to see if it starts charging, before ya buy it :)

I put my fone on the charging pad & nothing happened ... I read the box and it said it was compatible with all the latest smart fones (ie. apple & Droid)... so I tried again....nothing... so I took the case off my fone incase the charger was being temperamental.... and nothing.... so then I tried all the simple tech tricks... and still no good. so instead of getting upset, I gingerly put it back in the box and returned it. I wound up buying a similar device but of a alternate brand. maybe I just got a lemon?

Even then it seems to do what it wants. Aside from that it's just a power brick. I'd stick to a Samsung wireless charger if you want reliable wireless charging for your phone on a s9.
