I researched a lot of soundbars for quite some time and found Nakamichi because of my friend. I used soundbars from other brands before (Sonos, Bose, etc.). Given its quality and price, Nakamichi is no joke. I'd recommend Nakamichi to anyone interested in getting a soundbar.

Bought this for an easy way to have home theater without the receiver and all the wiring. The setup was really simple, I had gone through reading about different sound bars and didn’t mind the fact the rear speakers are wired into the sub. I had read it sounds “tinny” and that the rear sub cuts out due to WiFi interference and such but decided to take a shot anyhow, after all most electronics have certain things people dislike. I bought the stands for the rear speakers Nakamichi recommended and a mount for the sound bar under the TV and after turning on a good action movie I was pleasantly surprised (my friends thought it sounded like being at a theater). The bass is great and it is so easy to hear speech along with all the different elements in the movie. This sound bar can be really loud if turned up, but it may annoy others. I can see where people would say it has a tinny sound but the bass makes it complete. I was happy I bought it and from my personal experience would recommend it.

We purchased this soundbar about a month ago and have really liked it. It replaced an aging entertainment system with full tower speakers with a bulky center channel and surround speakers. This soundbar has easily matched the sound quality of our old system in a much smaller package size. When we first tried out Dolby Atmos we couldn't believe how good is sounded and how much it filled our large living room. The subwoofer could be a little bigger for our room but still produces enough bass when needed. We are going to be finishing our basement this winter. We are for sure going to go with the 9.2.4 system based on how much we have liked the 7.1.4 system. I would highly recommend people give this soundbar a try.

I purchased this unit back in November and I’m very impressed with its performance it replaced my Bose Cinemate 120 system. I wanted something with with Dolby Atmos and a adjustable subwoofer. After researching for a month all signs brought me back to Nakamichi. This model has all the features I wanted, it has a great design that saves tons of space, included rear wireless speakers, includes wall mounts and was also easily the most reasonably priced system with Dolby Atmos I could find. The sound quality is clear and crisp! I’ll also never have the need to raise the power level above 30 this system has plenty of power to spare. Last but not least build quality was extremely impressive for a system in this price range. I may never buy another system from the bigger companies out there again!

This is 2nd soundbar ..the first one that I had was Sony 2.1 soundbar so I needed to upgrade .. been searching and reading reviews and watching youtube videos then I came across Nakamichi and I been hearing positives things about this brand so I went for it and bought it ..At first I was skeptical but WOW sound quality is amazing, for the price you can't go wrong..Built quality is top notch..when you hear the sound from these speakers, it feels like you're in a theater..so I went with 7.1.4 is good enough for medium to master bed size room but definitely going to be getting the big brother 9.2.4 for my living room ..

Can’t go wrong, was not happy with my LG sound bar. Wanted an upgrade but the ones I want of course very expensive. When I was first researching sound bars I heard of Nakamichi. Went back looking and I found this one for a great price. Sounds so much better than my LG.

I recently had the opportunity to watch The Witcher and The Mandalorian with this soundbar with Dolby Atmos enabled. Sounds are very clear, loud and crisp. You can actually hear sounds coming from different directions. I wish I could compare it to other soundbars to give you guys a better idea but I can't; I came from a vizio soundbar 2.1 so can't really compare. I also listen to spotify and although it's recommended to listen to it as "native", i put surround sound on anyways and it just fills my entire (medium-sized) room. FYI: One caveat (although they mention this in one of their FAQs) is if you happen to get slow wifi after installing this, it's because the wireless connection with the subwoofer is on the same frequency as your wifi so you need to go to your router and change the channel frequency! It caused me a big headache that I ended up trying to buy wifi range extenders and even a new router because I thought mine was going to shiiiii.

I have had it for 4 months and I am very happy with the product. Bought ir refurbished but it’s like brand new. It was easy to setup, easy to use, and sounds great. I can’t listen to the TV speakers anymore because the soundbar sound is superior.

I purchased this after extensive research and testing several different models at home. This one had the most clear sound and thump of all of them. You can actually change the bass crossover frequency which nobody has. It also doubles as an HDMI switch, adding 3 more ports to my tv. It also has more DSP settings than any other I have tried. We have watched concerts on here and it is like your in the front row. Movies sound like the theater. Video games sound like your actually in the game, my wife kept turning her head when i was gaming. Also their tech support is great. You wont find a better surround sound system for the money, worth every penny.

I personally have a proper 5.1.4 system and was very skeptical that the soundbar can come even close, but decided to give it a try for my gf apartment. To my surprise this soundbar exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, dialog was even cleaner than on my dedicated center channel speaker. Atmos effects were not exactly like on my setup (4 on ceiling speakers) but it was definitely there and worked well. Setup was easy, rear speakers effects were great as well as bass. I strongly recommend this soundbar to anyone as a strong alternative to a full blown home theater setup.

I've had the Nakamichi 7.1.4 for almost 2 months now. The reason I bought it is because my brother has 1 model up (4 speakers plus sub and soundbar) and he loves it. I love listening to music during the day and also watch a decent amount of TV/movies. The soundbar / remote has a lot of settings it's just about figuring out which one works best and which one you like the best. I change settings depending on what I'm listening to. The subwoofer BUMPS. For music the treble is super crisp with perfect amount of bass. You can also adjust pre-made settings with the remote. Surround sound is great, feels immersive. I also like that updating the software is very simple and Nakamichi continues to update firmware. Highly recommend would buy again.

Awesome speaker set ! The sound is incredible for their size. The bass is surprisingly fantastic considering its light weight. This is the Beast of soundbars !

I’ve had my Nakamichi for a few months now, and I love it. I have the system hooked up to a Sony 85” UHD 4K. The sound is so clear ,and crisp. Music is just as great. This system is very loud. I can’t even turn it up to max. I would highly recommend this system to anyone looking for a higher end sound bar . Very Happy Customer A.G. In WV

Bought a new expensive TV with all the great sound options so I needed a new sound system to use with the new TV. After reviewing many different sound bars I decided on the Nakamichi 7.1.4. The setup was easy and the sound is wonderful. Everything is so much clearer then my old Visio sound bar. I especially needed the back speakers because my wife and I are older and the rear sound just makes everything sound that much better. Many sound bar systems do not include any rear speakers. So far I am very satisfied with the system and am glad I made the purchase.

This unit was just like all the reviews have said, it’s sound bliss. The sound is amazing forTV, movies, and music. The speakers are clear and the subwoofer delivers room shaking bass. The installation was super quick, all setup up within 5-10 minutes of opening the box. Nothing in this price range comes close.

I bought this to replace a Vizio 5.1.4 soundbar home theater that needed to be power cycled every few days due to poor eARC implementation. I have not needed to do that once with this set is it consistently outputs fantastic sound with minimal distortion at higher volumes. My wife is especially sensitive to the harsh sounds and has no issues when we turn this up on movie night. 12/10 would buy again.

I bought this more than 3 years ago and I have used it with my television watching series or playing with the Xbox or PS everything has been perfect until the sound interference started due to some interference, it always happens at exact moments of animations with consoles, then After moving, I moved the equipment to my room since it couldn't be in the living room and well, the sound is still beautiful but interference is a problem.

The soundbar was really easy to setup. It’s got ridiculous amounts of bass. There is a bit of delay when switching inputs, but otherwise it’s fine.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING SOUND...I was very surprised..The Dolby Atmo is a whole new dimension . Very Happy With my Purchase....
