Extremely well built.. Easy to install.. Works great with my HD Blue Ray, CD player and Smart TV... Outstanding sound & clarity with Dolby Atmos.. Well worth the price.. I highly recommend this Nakamichi - 7.1.4-Channel Soundbar...

We got tired of systems with wires everywhere and decided to go with the Nakamichi 7.1.4 Shockwafe Soundbar. It was a very wise decision. It’s a great value, it’s got ARC, it’s easy to set up, it comes with all the hardware anyone could need and it’s very well made. The sound is superb whether it’s a movie or music. The remote is backlit and easy to navigate. The subwoofer kicks some butt and the rear surrounds immerse you in every movie. This is a quality system and for the money you can’t beat it. Customer service is one of the best I’ve ever worked with. You ask a question and they give you all the answers in a nano second.

This is a beefy sounding soundbar. It is much better than a comparable Samsung model. With Atmos content, it is very immersive and loud, without sounding too loud. Sounds come at you from above and behind and all around you! The bass is very strong and satisfying with movies or listening to music. With music, you can feel the bass in your core and it is much better than other soundbars I have experienced. Just a very satisfying and deep bass sound. There is a small learning curve to learn how to use the remote, but the customer service is excellent and helpful, and very informative guides are included. 4k blu ray content sounds absolutely amazing. Very immersive. Overall highly recommended!

I'm by no means an audiophile but I have been very satisfied with my Nakamichi since getting it about 2 months ago. I was previously using a standalone Vizio soundbar that was ~5years old and the Nakamichi is a massive upgrade in every way. It's definitely enhanced by gaming/viewing experience and was well worth the investment. The Nakamichi website also has a customizable guide that made setting up the soundbar a breeze and even tells you what settings to use on your TV, gaming systems, etc.

I bought two units - one for living room (9.2 model) and one for my computer system. They are great! We have enjoyed every moment of good quality of this sound system during COVID-19. Thanks to Nakamichi.

i've had this for 2 months now, surround speakers mounted on Atlantic brand floor stands. I like how adjustable all the settings are on the remote, where some higher end sound bar systems have very minimalist adjustability. Atmos is cool, although it's SSE, virtualized height effect. It still immerses your head in a giant sound bubble. However, i haven't tried "real" atmos with actual height speakers so i can't compare that. Sometimes audio cuts out and i have to turn the bar off and back on-- maybe its because of other components i'm playing video from, settings, or cables, but either way its not a big deal to me if it happens once or twice per 2+ hour movie

My previous soundbar was the Vizio 5.1.2 Dolby Atmos. It was a terrible mistake. Never again will I buy a Vizio product. Every software update made it worse. Most of the time, I had to unplug the power and plug it back in just to get it to work. The volume randomly went up and down. So I started looking for an alternative. I did a lot of research. And Nakamichi was highly rated. I've had it for a few months now. I could not be happier. And the wife is happy, which is most important. Buy this soundbar. You won't be disappointed.

Bought this for my man cave and I just love it. Great sound with great base and I love the surround sound.

I'm so glad I got this system. The detailed level of support is amazing. Don't know how to hook it all up? Don't worry, step by step instructions. Got an Xbox One X and need help navigating how to use the surround sound system with it? They've got a step by step guide. Need to update your firmware? Once again, step by step (and simple) instructions. I switched from Vizio after a couple weeks and I'm so glad I did. The customer support for Vizio was pretty much non-existent, when trying to get help with Dolby Atmos. This Nakamichi system sounds great and you'll be happy. I would absolutely recommend this!

I gave it 3 stars because it does sound amazing when it works and nakamichi's customer service is actually pretty good. However, if you live in an apartment complex the wireless subwoofer will continuously disconnect from the sound bar. This problem has been acknowledged by the company. Super frustrating to have a great system that doesn't work because of the 5G wifi networks. Add the fact that you have 2 weeks to return in Best Buy when you try and spend 2 weeks to try and fix the problem is super frustrating.

I was am to Nakamichi so I was hesitant to buy this system. But I went for it and I don't regret it. This Nakamichi sounds amazing! I'm happy with my purchase. :)

This soundbar has been fantastic, and works great. Much cheaper than buying an amp that supports all of the features

Teamed the Nakamichi 7.1.4 up with a Sony X900H TV and Roku Ultra through the eARC to replace a Samsung 3.1.2 soundbar. The sound quality and ability to fill the room with sound was impressive. I installed it just before Dune was released and was amazed with the Nakamichi's ability to fill the room with sound and had it coming from all directions just like a theater sound system. Extremely satisfied with the system particularly in it's price range.

I love watching movies and shows and have a projector and nice tvs so having this amazing sound system is just perfect for all my viewing needs. The Atmos is so much fun having and everyone gets a kick out of it when they can almost feel rain drops fall or helicopters fly over. Had a few issues that were easily resolved by contacting their amazing support ninjas! Keep up the good work Nakamichi

unbelievable soundbar. The surround sound is amazing. Highly recommend if you're searching for a highend soundbar. THIS IS THE ONE.

When I first heard the system, I was surprised at how well it sounded considering the price. By far the best bang for your buck sound system you can get currently. My only qualm is that it doesn't support eARC or HDMI 2.1 and it can be buggy sometimes with video pass through. Overall though, it can't be beaten for the price and I have no regrets. I'm anxiously awaiting to see what they bring with the next generation model.
