The sound is amazing and setup was simple and direct.

Up front, this sound bar is outstanding, especially for the price range. I was extremely hesitant to “downgrade” my JBL 5.1 surround sound to a sound bar, but the ease of install and lack of wires made a sound bar the only real option. I searched around and found a lot of buzz around Nakamichi’s new sound bars. I was familiar with the brand, as my father had a Nakamichi tape deck in the 80s. After a ridiculous amount of research, I took the plunge and ordered the 7.1 system. At first I wasn’t impressed, until I properly adjusted my TV audio output, and settings on the sound bar. Wow. I was blown away by the way the system creates a sphere of sound, and somehow makes the bass seem like it comes from the front (I’ve got mine mounted behind me). Change the settings and your turntable sounds great through this system, as well as your Bluetooth connected music! Save yourself a little money, and buy from Nakamichi; anything even remotely close in audio quality will cost you close to double.

The 7.1 system gives you powerful sound with true surround performance and clear dialog. The provision of 4K-compatible HDMI ports enhances your connectivity options. The wireless woofer with two speakers can be away from the soundbar making the system wire free!

I researched for months to find the best sound bar for my new home and LG 65" OLED. I researched over a dozen sound bars from Sony, LG, Sonos, Bose, etc, etc, etc and before all of this, i had never heard of Nakamichi. But, after many many hours of research, reviews, watching videos, talking to other owners in forums i quickly discovered these guys were no joke. I am SO glad i jumped in and purchased the 7.1.4 system. Setup was as easy as it gets, literally plug and play. The first content i threw on was jaw dropping. It took a little while to find the best place to locate the sub, but once i got it dialed in it was like, WOW. Listening to TV and movies now is like a whole new experience. I even like listening to my kids shows now haha. I wont go into all the technical jive, because it would take me hours to write out each area. But trust me, i went through ALL of it. There are some things i wish were better, but i know i'd have to spend $1500-$5000 more on a system and that's not happening. I havent tried the ATmos yet, but everything else is amazing, i'm sure that will be too. Good luck

Although I am no expert in soundbars, I used to be a snobby home theater hobbyist who used to balk at surround systems costing less than $2k. I got this Nakamichi because we have an awkward arrangement for our living room and a child who has a tendency to bump into speaker stands or wall mounts. After setting it up, I am truly shocked by the crispness of the sound and the width of the soundstage. The bass is superb and tight. Nakamichi really knocked this one out of the park!

I considered soundbars from Samsung, Klipsch, and others before I decided on the Nakamichi Shockwafe Pro 7.1.4 system. I made this desision based on reviews, performance, and bang for the buck. I have been impressed with the sound of the system, and the quality well built system. I was having some pops & cracks from the Sub at low volume which is common issue caused by my WIFI 5GHz router frequenc. it was easy to change the frequency on the router and it cleared up the issue completely. Very happy with my purchase and I have been telling freinds and family about this soundbar.

If you don't want to buy separate elements (speakers, subwoofer, receivers, etc.) this is as good is gets in terms of sound and price. Excellent Dolby Atmos effects (make sure you update!) but really, even movies/shows without Dolby Atmos sound amazing. I suggest you use SSE 3 in the settings, for the best effects. I had al LG Dolby Atmos system and the sound was was bad, I had to switch. Do not buy more expensive systems, it can't get better than this for an all in one.

Happy with the purchase. Initially heard crackling sounds dropping sound with HDMI ARC and TOSLINK in sub-woofer. However, didn't find those issues with Bluetooth-connected iTunes. Finally I figured out it's my poor wireless internet connection that is causing the issue. Strongly recommend a wired internet connection. Watched the Atmos version of AVATAR, Avengers Series, Money Heist on LG 8k TV attached to this sound system..no complaints.

Going from TV speakers to a full surround-sound set up has been amazing! Love that the only blue tooth connection is between the soundbar and the subwoofer - judging from watching TV at friends', pairing to a blue tooth soundbar from the TV can be frustrating! Comes with everything you need for setup except back speaker stands, but there are attachments included in case you just want to screw them into the wall. The sound quality is top-notch, everything looks to be made very well, and the setup was a breeze.

I bought this Sound bar in black friday deal with 150 dollar off. I thought the Atmos is a gimmick but you should hear the sound in person. There are settings you need to set to feel it but god it sounds awesome. The description in their website is very helpful. If you don't see the atmos effect, try reset the sound bar. It will automatically decode everything from the blu ray for the atmos effect.

I did a little bit of research before buying this Soundbar. I was expecting an amazing system. But this really blew me away. My current set up is a Sony 4K player (wow!) and Ultra Roku box. It was relatively easy setting everything up. You will notice how good the system is not only in loud blockbusters but also just in normal dialogue. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and I hope Nakamachi keeps making these for years to come.

I have had numerous sound bars before purchasing the Nakamichi and none have come close to the quality,sound and looks of the Nakamichi. The remote is also top notch.The sound from this system puts you right in any movie you are watching. You are totally surrounded by action sounds from all speakers. I highly recommend the Nakamichi sound bar system. It is one of my best purchases.I will be keeping this for years. It's that good.

Screw Sonos. Get this. You are getting far more for so much less. And the customer service at Nakamichi is by far the best I've ever encountered in the industry. I cannot believe how cinematic and immersive these speakers have made my entertainment center become. I cannot recommend them enough!

I have tried several other sound bars but Nakamichi is the best of all. Nakamichi sound is amazing as you are watching a movie in a theater. I am glad I opted Nakamichi as preferred choice for home entertainment. It’s definitely worth far more than what I have spent , I am completely satisfied and happy with my 7.1.4

I for the most part tend to use a receiver and dedicated speaker setup. I didn't want something so extensive for a smaller area I was setting up. I opted for the simple 7.1.4 from nakamichi. I was not expecting the sound quality I received. I was very pleasantly surprised by what this system does in terms of surrounding you with clear highs and thumping bass. Very good nakamichi!

Sound bar sounds awesome and the base rocks my bed, worth the price.

I've been in the market for a new surround sound system for the bedroom for years, but haven't been able to find one that fit my needs until now. I took a chance on this system based on the reviews. And I am thrilled with it. The sound and functionality are well beyond this price point. The remote control has a ridiculous amount of functions available. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I spent several weeks researching various systems. I was really looking for the best bang for the buck I could find, and two months in believe I've found it. Phenomenal sound, easy setup, and great Atmos sound without the headache of setting up a traditional receiver and speaker system. Couldn't be happier!

I had always use receivers with wired speakers prior to this. The atmos is amazing. I wasn't sure how they were going to work it with a sound bar but it does surround you. There's some extra settings on there that make it better too. Don't hesitate to get! It was awesome!

One of the best sound bars out there! delivers high quality discrete sound the newest technology can bring. The Dolby Atmos fully immerses the move viewer and creates realism not found in lesser systems. So if movie viewing is your thing, I highly recommend the Nakamichi as it has replaced many home theaters before it.
