Loud but poor quality. The subs started cutting out so i returned it.

Cheap product for that type of money. Subwoofer loose inside cannot handle itself. Go with Samsung or Bose. You have been warned.

I’ve owned a lot of soundbars and the vast majority of them are very underwhelming. The last 3 I’ve owned (Vizo Elevate, LG S95QR & Bose 900 w/ Bass Module) were actually great and I honestly was very happy with them until…. When I first setup the Nakamichi Shockwave Ultra 9.2.4ch system I was blown away with the guides telling you exactly what settings should be selected on the devices you are connecting to the sound system. The obviously take the time to see what products work well with the soundbar and give you the proper settings to make the whole installation process simple and actually enjoyable. All I have to say is once the setup is complete and you fire that system up with your favorite music, movies or just normal TV. You will understand & hear the difference that Nakamichi is in the Soundbar audio space. Nothing comes close to overall sound profile and immersion you will feel listening to audio through the Shockwave 9.2.4!! Highly highly recommended and if your not sure, just buy it and stop wasting your time thinking about buying anything else.

Fantastic soundbar with great sour round sound features and Dolby Atmos capabilities! I bought this soundbar system as I was looking for an out-of-the-box home theater system setup that had all the features I wanted and the Nakamichi Soundwafe 9.2.4 did NOT disappoint! My recommendation would definitely be to get familiar with the manual first as getting the customization right is key to great acoustics depending on your space. The setup is extremely easy and the subwoofers provide great bass range. Overall, I would highly recommend purchasing this home theater system. 5/5 stars.

The SSE technology gives you all the elevation effects, worth every penny. This system is also the most adjustable system to your needs since you can control the surround sound and the rear sound among center and LR channels. Their customer care team is phenomenal.

Purchased this Nakamichi Shockwafe 9.2.4ch with 1300W soundbar in September 2024. True Dolby Atmos surround sound for my movies and football watching. The soundbar system is very powerful and rattles my wall, especially during action movies. Watching football with the sound bar makes me feel like I am in the stadium. I really like the new remote and how easy it is to quickly activate movie, music, gaming, or sports mode on the sound bar. Highly recommended. Great system fairly easy setup. Just make sure the settings on your tv are correct for eARC. I did replace the speaker wires from the subwoofer with better quality ones from Amazon type in RCA Audio Cable and you can get the right length you need. Overall great system.

This is a mind-blowing audio system. Bought it to complement my 120" HiSense UST (L9G), and it really makes a huge difference to the overall experience. The soundbar is the brains of the operation, and linked up with the UST projector super easy using a high-speed HDMI cable to give me eArc support. The 2 sub-woofers connected wirelessly to the soundbar ( i did not have to do a thing to get them to connect, other than plugging them into a power outlet) I did some basic drywall fishing to position the remaining 4 speakers on the ceiling and walls around my rear sofa, and hooked them up to each of the subwoofers, and boom done !! Did not make any additional adjustments, and just using the setting OTB right now, and it sounds great !! P.S i rarely turn the volume above 20s and the base and sound overall are shattering !!

This soundsystem is incredible, but the customer support is even better! I had a mishap, where I tripped and fell into one of my subwoofers (I'm clumsy). One of the cords leading to the rear surround speakers broke off inside the port. Not only was I able to quickly get a replacement part, but Nakamichi made a video for me to show me how to replace it. I've had other questions tech related, and they always answer immediately and are very helpful. Based out of San Jose. Pretty much the only tech company now that has good customer support. The remote is awesome and makes maximizing the quality of my soundbar pretty easy. I can quickly switch between different modes depending on if I am watching a movie, music, sports, etc. It is very easy to adjust the settings of the soundbar using the remote, it's just important to read the user manual to fully understand the capabilities. One thing that's nice is that I can adjust the lip sync directly on the soundbar. I find some older shows/movies the lip sync is a bit off, and I can now fix that easily. I don't really have any complaints at this point. This system is so loud, that I've never had the volume above 30/100. I can't even imagine how loud it would be. Usually, I have the volume on 12/100, and it completely fills the room. I live on 10 acres, otherwise this soundsystem would probably be causing issues with neighbors. Definitely not an appropriate soundsystem for an apartment or houses that are close together, unless you have soundproofing.

What an upgrade. Switched from a vizio soundbar with sub and surround speakers. This system has very clear sound, bass and several set up options for the 4 surround speakers. Set up was very straight forward and included all cables to get going right out of the box. Large backlit remote makes sound adjustments very simple.

I’ve had the 7.1, 7.1.4, and now the 9.2.4 Shockwafe’s. All the cinema quality sound of the previous setups expanded with additional Atmos and dual subs. I wouldn’t be on my third upgrade if they didn’t deliver on their promise!

After trying all of the mid-range soundbars I could find (which all sounded horrible) I decided that I'd have to get an upper tier one. Sonos sounds great, but it's a lot more money and I don't think it sounds better. This system has an awesome front speaker for dialog and with the directionals and satellites, it definitely fills the room. The bass is commanding and plentiful without sounding boomy. I don't think you can do better for the price.

I bought this for my basement multi-media room. I was confused before buying this as it is a new company for me while I was thinking about Bose soundbars as I am a user of it and enjoyed it. But after much consideration, I bought this soundbar (2 woofers and 4 speakers). Best thing i can tell you, they have great customer service period. Installation: very easy, you need mounting brackets if you want to mount them on the wall for speakers. Setup: use the app and configure it in a couple of minutes. Sound Quality: OMG it is great quality, I am impressed. watching movies, I will give it 9/10, with this price. If you are in market for new soundbar, give it try, you will not regret it.

Audiophile quality sound, excellent frequency response 20hz-20khz, excellent house shaking but clear bass and mid and high frequencies. Excellent theater system. Many options for customization of audio parameters via remote. Bought after comparing with all other top brand systems. The legendary Nakamichi (audiophile cassette decks made famous by the Dragon) of the 1970-80s has reincarnated with the same audiophile quality sound in this subwoofers-soundbar-surround theater system. Already owned Nakamichi cassette deck, Yamaha amp, Yamaha tuner, Akai CD player, Klipsch speakers.

Absolutely phenomenal home theatre system. Ever since we bought our new home we got tired of going to public theaters and dealing with all of the hassle that came with that. Fully immersive audio with the Dolby Atmos w/ eARC which compliments the Mini LED 75 inch I bought with Dolby Vision. One of the last companies on earth with AMAZING customer service. If you have any trouble setting it up or any questions about the product feel free to call Nakamichi directly. Only downside is the 4 wired surrounds aren't wireless, but you can't beat the price. The dual subs are amazing!

Best Soundbar System i have heard so far. The sound is Amazing. Feels like your sitting at the theater. You can adjust the Surround Speakers from zero to 10. I thought with 2 subwoofers that the bass might be overwhelming but that is not the case. My other 2.1 Soundbar only had 1 subwoofer and it would produce too much bass at times to where you couldn't hear what they were saying clearly. Only con would be that it has wires running from the surround speakers to the subwoofers but the sound is so good that i can deal with it. I plan on getting the same Soundbar System for our basement when we get it done.

Very easy to hook up and has great sound. Love that you can easily from the remote adjust the bass, treble, and all other similar functions. Mobile App would be better
