I returned this movie because the sound track was not enhanced to at least 5.1.

I am not a fan of this movine, but it has become a staple during the holidays.

The steel case is about the only thing truly going for this version of the flick. The movie itself is of course classic but the Blu Ray conversion was a true let down. Regardless of the quality of your TV this movie will appear grainy and inaccurate

This is not the edited version like when it airs on TV. Im very disappointed in the vulgar and offensive language. Cursing adds nothing to the movie. I find it repulsive actually.

The picture quality is bad also the sound ain’t that great and it’s Blu-ray it should be much better

The disc was bad, could not watch. They did not have another. Swaped for a different movie.

I had to return this to the store. It did not have a digital copy like the image showed.

Case was broken in half had to exchange it. Exchange was ok though.

I had forgotten how hilarious this movie was, and am glad I decided to add it to my Christmas movie collection!

This is the funniest Christmas movie I have ever seen. Chevy Chase is back as Clark Griswold and he is one of the funniest actors ever. He will have you laughing from start to finish in this movie. Randy Quaid is also in this movie and he is histerical as well as Uncle Eddy . The story line is great and the actors work well together. This movie is hilarious from start to finish. Some movies you get burnt out on and watch them again but not this one you will watch it every Christmas. In my opinion this is the best Vacation movie they made. Own your piece of Griswold history in this hilarious classic on blu-ray. The blu-rayy looks and sounds better than the SD DVD.

A Christmas classic. Hilarious and Chevy Chase doesn't disappoint.

I was told about this movie from a friend of mine last year. I bought it because I love the original National Lampoon's Griswold family. From the beginnning to the end, this movie had me and my family laughing non-stop. All the Griswold's relatives were hiliarous, even grandpa. It is a classic that all can relate to, especially it you are "hosting your family" this year. I recommend this movie to all types of movie watchers. I love that even if people are not familiar with the Griswold family, you will know at least 3 actors in this movie. A comedy/holiday masterpiece, we watch as a new traditional part of celebrating Christmas. It makes a great Christmas gift.

What can you say about perhaps the greatest Christmas comedy of all time? The movie is hilarious and classic. This review is more about the steelbook blu-ray. The original blu-ray has DVD-like video quality. This one is very nicely remastered, a 4/5 on video quality. The soundtrack is also good, a 4/5. This is definitely the version to get. I waited a long time before buying it on blu-ray because I knew the first blu-ray was subpar. Buy this one!

This is one of my family's all-time favorite Christmas movies. It doesn't matter how many times we've seen it, we still laugh every time. It's usually the first one we watch each season, and we often watch it more than once every year!

National Lampoons Christmas Vacation is by far the best movie in the National Lampoons series and is one of my favorite Christmas movies. Chevy Chase plays a loving family man faced with the challenges of entertaining relatives during the holidays. There are so many classic lines / scenes that will be a part of Christmas always. We watch this movie at least once each year and it never gets old.
