The movie is well written and acted. While some parts are a little over the top, there are similarities to real life family holiday experiences.

Every Christmas there's a handful of movies that are must haves. Christmas story, polar express, Charlie Brown Christmas, Home Alone, it's a wonderful life and this movie.

Hilarious movie! We will spend a little bit of every Christmas season with the Griswold. Would love more features, but the movie itself is great (except for that sledding scene).

This is an always enjoyable movie to watch any time of the year. The quotes and sheer antics make this classic better than "Christmas Story" in my eyes.

I've seen this movie so many times that I could probably quote the whole thing in one sweep. The Blu-ray has a nice transfer though it lacks in special features.
