Service was wonderful except that the geek squad failed to import the email addresses from my old computer to the new one. I have called and texted to explain the problem and have received no response or call back.

We tried, but the old machine had too much stored material and the new unit could not absorb al of it. I will have to get an external memory and then try to get the new computer u and running. Pity.

The technician came in to transfer data from my old desktop to my new one. He said that to save me money, instead of using a flash drive, that I should purchase cloud for the transfer. After the cloud started working, he said it would not be finished until late the following day, due to my slow internet. Then he left. It still has not finished. I am really disappointed in Geek squad for the first time in years of service. Even followup calls were not able to help me!!!

had to. take my new I Mac computer in to the store,, to get all of my info down loaded. home tech could not do it, gave all of the info, as well as the web root cert, to be down loaded, to my new computer. picked up computer,, and discovered that the tech in the store did NOT install my new we root protection, still using the info, from my old computer.

The ASUS laptop was a new product for me. Once I adjusted to keyboard and waited over a week for Geek Squad to transfer my old unit data, it works well now.

I was able to set up my computer and printer without any help from the Geek Squad. I requested a refund which I still have not received.

Probably something we could have done but just wanted to make sure it was right. However, although the tech was helpful he was not an apple user and did not know various aspect the the apple product working together.

The agent setup my desktop computer. But I cannot scan a document because it says printer not connected to computer. He should have checked if it was connected and working properly.

Zack came to my home and we developed a plan for my data. He was to return with a solid state hard drive for me to buy and him to install on 6/18, but never showed up. I called, the CS rep called him, he said he'd hurt his back. Nobody every followed up and I've never rescheduled. Nobody let me know that he wouldn't be there, or that he wouldn't be calling to reschedule. He was great when he was here, but he and BB left me hanging. I've been a big fan of the heavy service contract, but no more if you don't get service.

Gave me incorrect information, migration went fine, was too quick for an elderly person to learn by themselves - grab a class in "Patience"

The tech migrated most of my old computer to the new one but my calendar bookmarks didn't make it and some of the links in icons on the home screen are now inactive.

The agent came to my house. I had spent the previous day moving things off my computer onto flash drives, and was on a Zoom meeting when he arrived earlier than the appointment time. Then he spent a few minutes and told me that there was too much data to transfer and I had to go to the store. It was 4-5 days until I could get an appointment and when I brought it in they told me no one would work on it until the following day or 2. So my computer is not set up with the printer or scanner as I had envisioned.

No. They connected my new computer,which he did very good,however there are some things that I don,t understand.

Agents need a little more training to work with old people who need help. I still haven't used my new laptop because he didn't help me install Office.

The agent set up the computer but things like contacts in Outlook are missing. I cannot figure out how to do it myself so please schedule a follow up visit to complete the job.

Once my new Mac was installed, I have been blocked out of many sites with my mini pad. I think I need a technician to come and help me. Who do I call?

I think the installing agent needs more training, or, at least needs to take more time getting data transferred. The data transfer was incomplete in part, and some data was repeat copied. I had to have another agent come out to fix some of the errors, and I myself have had to do data movement to fill in and make complete. Still working on it.

The agent had difficulty making the transfer from one device to another because he did not come for the appointment prepared and he lacked the experience to work this out.

Major issue no Comcast internet after install - major issue!! also several files not transferred over to new PC. Now I have to wait for several weeks for his rescheduled visit. Geek should reschedule someone/tech asap when new plug/ordered comes in - soon. Tech was nice but these are major issues (no internet) to leave a customer with!! so the rating is incomplete as of now.

I didn't get much feedback as to how different items 'worked,' especially security. I will need to take time to look for these items myself.
