Geek was not prepared.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Geek wasn't prepared with the equipment needed and had to leave to buy it and the migration was going slow and only sent 69% of the information to my new machine. He failed to give me any instruction on where to find the info that was migrated.

Each agent said, "Don't worry, we will fix this for you." Obviously, they've been coached to say that. Finally, the last agent said, "Sorry, we can't fix this." At least she was honest. They wasted hours and hours of my time. Possibly worst of all, I was told at my last interaction that three days prior, ALL the prior history related to my issue had been deleted due to their system update so I there is no proof of all I experienced.

Patience Needed

Not the Best Buy usual standards.

I spent hours for 3 days by phone, chat, email, to finish the setup. No success. So i waited until my anger subsided. I tried again. I was told there was a glitch in the scheduling. Tyrone came on a Sunday.
