Very DISAPPOINTED with scheduling!!!!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had an appointment on July 3, 2025 which was cancelled and had to be rescheduled to July 12, 2025. Just got a phone from Christine and my appointment was cancelled and had to be rescheduled to July 23, 2025. I am an 88 years woman with a bad back and unable to lift the tower onto my desk. I paid for this service when I purchased the tower. Why sell this service if you can’t fulfill your scheduling!!! Very DISAPPOINTED!!! Bad service for advanced payment for scheduling!!!

The tech seemed and probably was very competent and certainly timely and professional. However later when I asked for some follow-up pertaining to the original request my text was ignored. That fact generated this rating. I was not and am not satisfied with no response.

Geek Squad's condescending attitude unapreciated!!

Only got an abundance of condescending attitude and additional costs when trying to schedule. Don't expect anyone else will see this, but I wanted to make it clear that GeekSq. memberS make me wish i'd spent my money with ANY ONE OF THE MULTITUDE of people who sell your products.

Lack of good service!

I was thoroughly disappointed with this total lack of service. I had prepaid $175 + tax for this installation service. After they didn't show up, I went back to Best Buy to get this installation fee refunded. Well, it's over 2 weeks and still NO refund.

Geek Squad is a joke

He tried saying that it was my internet but no it was just him wanting to leave. He wasn’t even here for a whole hour. Total waste of money.

What has happened to the Geek Squad?

They wanted to reschedule the setup six weeks after delivery, so we cancelled the appointment. For four years, Geek Squad was great. Now it's not worth paying $179 for remote service that can best be described as exasperating, taking the computer to the store, and paying $150 for data transfer in addition to $150 to have it set up. We will have to find another IT support company for our business.

Never Again

The issue wass that the laptop did not work correctly out of the box, not that I could not set it up. I ended up fixing it my self (OS reload). I contacted Geek service to see if I could get some type of refund, he said he would get back with me in the next few days with an answer but never did. In other words he blew me off. Not what I would expect from Best Buy.

Twice they told me they were geek squad & id have to pay & once i got geek squad, i went through everything again. But this time agent gave me info to get a hold of best buy geek squad. I got assistance. My printer was connected & worked fine. Except next day i turned printer to us it & it's not connected any more. Also orginal agent that set computer up told me best buy would fix without charge

RETURNING THE HP COMPUTER--DOES NOT OPEN FILES

In store three times and Geek analysis STILL DID NOT OPEN FILES.

Charged $174. I find out the day of setup it's just for one. Wow amazing. Do not recommend. Can't take an order properly. Ot impressed

Completely Disappointed

I expected the Geek to explain the process to me. He did not explain anything. For the amount of $$$ I spent, I was completely disappointed.
