Very disappointed in data transfer
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very disappointed. The files are duplicated in some areas, blank folders in others. Went to the store the next day, they were unable to fix it. Spent time by calling in, they helped a little. But i spent most of the next day, doing manual cleanup of my system, which still feels like a mess. The online agent told me to go back into the store to get all the temp files removed. Why wasn't this done at setup? Definitely won't be using Geek Squad to setup and transfer my data in the future.

Highly competent Geek Squad
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Agent Nouman came to our home on time, set our computer up quickly, answered all our questions and truly helped us especially when it came to making decisions and writing down everything we needed to remember and keep for future use. We will call him again when needed. We definitely would hire him again.

Geek Squad Agent Helped me in less than 15 minutes

The agent I spoke to last Thursday helped me in less than 10 minutes. I think the Geek Squad agents with Best Buy is the best thing ever for those of us not very knowledgeable in this area.

G.S.Agent Lyle fixed my laptop perfectly.

I am 79 years old and he treated me with respect and went slow enough for me to understand everything he was trying to show me. He installed all the things I needed on the computer with great skill. I was very, very satisfied with my appointment.

Different but better
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It’s a bit different from my old Dell, but basically communication is easier and I’m adjusting to the lack of keypad. I’d definitely recommend especially if you are used to using an iPod. I just need to remember to move my fingers over to allow for the new keypad.
