great gaming device for the kids while traveling... the mario game is also great

Great hand held console, you can play for about 4-5 hrs straight on a full charge with the brightness on full.

The most fun I have had outside of my phone. I love being able to play the classic Nintendo series on the go.

My daughter has been very pleased with the ease she can connect to her brother's 3DSXL and race head-to-head.

If you want the cheapest and newest way to play DS and 3DS games on a bigger screen, buy this. You also have access to buying Game Boy, Game Boy Color, NES, and SNES games.

Didn't realize the DS line is being phased out. Feels a little cheap but the size is nice.

My children love it! They havent opened theirs yet, but they played their cousins and love Mario Kart.

Everything is better than the 3DS except it is not backward compatible regarding 3D graphics. I am not super invested in the 3D graphics, but I can see how players who enjoy the 3D graphics may want to hold off on the upgrade.

Love the 2DS. I have the 3DS XL but got this as another option to bring while traveling.

I prefer the 2DS over the 3DS. I never used the 3D anyway. This is a great handheld with fun games.

This is a good model of the DS series. The price is affordable, it comes included with a game @ $150. The battery life is good as well. I will state the "build" and "quality" and "feel" of the product is VERY lacking compared to other Nintendo products I own and have owned. The 3DS XL I have feels much better put together. Even holding it was worth the $50 extra I paid - forget the 3D feature for a minute and just think about the item you're holding. Folks will argue it's lighter, but I don't actually find that a quality at this weight difference - it doesn't matter for my big mits. This was a gift - the person who recieved it was very happy with it, and as they should be - it's a quality product. I would just lean the more advanced gamer to go with the 3DS XL.
