My 5 year old loves this game system. He takes it to barber shop, church (yes it saves the days) and we can go take long car rides together. He doesn't get bored because it came with multiple games already installed.

Much better screen readability and faster processor than before. Fast setup and quick to load. Really liked that the Mario Kart game was preinstalled and no need to wait for any updates or downloads. Recommend.

Really enjoy this Ds. The hold of it fits better in my hands. The only think I’m Not crazy about is where you put the cartridge for the game. But it at least keeps the dust out unlike the older brands.

AmaZing product at an amazing price! The exact thing as a 3DS except the material it’s made of and the 3D feature missing. If your okay with that then by all means get this instead. It’s better for your buck.

He absolutely loved it the game was pre installed so there wasn't much to do beside enter the language settings time and location. it also came with a Micro SD card already installed for digital downloads

Nintendo does a great job with rehashing old toys. This has to be the 100th iteration of the DS which was the 100th version of the Game Boy, but it still feels fun and keeps kids quiet on long car rides.

This is an excellent system to enjoy the vast DS and 3DS library. It's much more affordable than the New 3DS XL, plus it comes with the charger. Sure, it lacks "3-D", but it was gimmicky to begin with.

I already had a New 3DS XL, but the New 2DS XL has some design choices (e.g., an easily accessible micro-SD card slot and smaller form factor) that made me want to use it over its clunkier cousin.

My four and a half year old received this as a Christmas gift and she loves it, she cannot read yet and some of the games have an option to read the text out loud to help navigate the game. The only thing I don’t like about it is the buttons don’t light up, so unless you have them memorized, you cannot tell which button is which if you are playing in a dim or dark room.

Really good for kids to start! This was a good purchase for my 3 yr old.

My son wanted this for his 13th Bday. I thought why when here are better options.. I gotta tell ya. This is fun little thing. Mario Cart is a blast. I might have to get one for myself too

Great combo for new or experienced gamer. My 8 year old nephew's first system, but even I enjoyed it. Graphics, controls and overall game choices are very impressive. Well worth it.
